I drove my 93-f150 truck in to have a new clutch installed we agree on $ 525.00 with an oil change everything working just needed a new clutch this was on a Friday and they said it will be done that day I walk over there around 5 pm to see if it was ready then I notice it was parked on the lot with the hood up they told me that they couldn't bleed the clutch will do it Saturday ok go back and still not done they spent very little time trying because they decided to work on other cars later called me to tell me it needed a master cylinder and showed me the one still attaches to the hydraulic line but removed from the firewall with the attaching push rod in it and seal missing lock ring had not been removed told me I needed a new one I said how would I have been able to drive it here like that and shift gears and there's no rubber seal as if they pulled it out because the snap ring was still in there you guys drove it in the shop brake fluid would have been inside the truck if that was true so I walked next door to auto zone got a new one they installed it but they can't bleed the system I told them that it had to be bench bled with the line attach because if not air would be stuck if not done that way because of the design they said ( owner/ mechanic ) that the mechanic bench blead it. I said that yes he told me but not with the line attached. they installed the new master cylinder and tried to bleed it didn't work I went the next day Wednesday and had it towed. I should have not paid till the work was completed. The mechanic installed the new master cylinder and they tried Tuesday to bleed it was having problems I looked and noticed the pushrod was not properly installed so they stay all day Tuesday trying to bleed it and wanted me to pay $.130.00 more when I knew that they tried to get over on me or really didn't know what they/owner was doing or both I had it towed Wednesdays. lost money?.
