5 starsWe met this company years ago at a fest. They continued to follow up every other year and were never pushy. We finally decided to replace our sliding glass door. Tristen the Sales Rep was professional and friendly. He did an outstanding job. Door was delivered on time, install was scheduled in a timely manner, and installers were on time and respectful of my home. They did a great job and I would buy from them again. I am very happy with the work performed!!

5 starsThis is the 4th project Illinois Energy has completed for us. We are return customers because of their honest dealing, fair prices, and quality product. They have been more than happy to work with us as we complete a set of windows at a time. Their windows are well-insulated against the cold and noise. 5 starsWe had 4 windows replaced from being rotted out. They replace the windows and the material around them to ensure the best quality. The also completely tore out one window and replaced it with a different shape. All the work looks great and it was all done in one day, including clean up. 5 starsWe had a garden window installed in an existing kitchen window we have had garden windows installed in other homes and this was the most perfect installation we have ever experienced. The window is of the highest quality, able to withstand ******* *******. The crew did a PERFECT job, caring for our plants outside as they worked and leaving the area in perfect condition. 3 stars****BEWARE YOU ARE BEING SOLD THIRD PARTY PATIO DOORS WHICH ALL WILL DEVELOP DESICCANT ACCUMULATION IN BETWEEN THE ***** PANES AS PER GM *********************** ADMITTANCE**** RUN OF THE **** DOORS, GREAT SERVICE ****************** After sales was done for a replacement front door and patio door because they had the best products, the best installation team and overall the best guarantee in the business (which is what sold me), I put 50% down payment, a long time went by before the doors were installed because you know covid, the installer was very professional and well not very careful on installation, it was done during winter 2021, well, the front door hinges squeaks, the frame around the door leaked like a sieve, and had a seal failure on the sidelite of the door, the patio door had air infiltration on the slider door on top and bottom of the inside corners of the frame causing all kinds of condensation on the lower part of the door I was concerned because this would cause mold to grow, I was told this was normal specially if it was close to the heating register and closed the curtains at night, (funny thing is that after a technician was sent to fix this issue, the condensation magically disappeared!!!) even more important the were some very sizeable particles in between the glass panes, called in and about four months later get a second set of replacement panes with a lesser amount but still present of so called desiccant, here is where the fun begins, ******************* and I start having a conversation about the issues, and tries to convince me that is natural, and I was adamant that I would not be looking at these flakes for the next 20 to 30 years, (black seal with whittish desiccant flakes) and every solution I offered they were all rebuffed as essentially no way, no how, not going to happen, and at the end one of the solutions I offered was adopted for my problem, I firmly believe that my problem was solved quickly because I was still holding half of the remaining balanceIllinois Energy Windows & Siding, Inc.

We would like to thank **** for his review. We would also like to address ****'s statement about the desiccant. These are tiny flakes that can be viewed when looking inside the thermal pane and when viewed up close. To note, this will never obstruct any view through the glass, they are tiny flakes that settle at the bottom. This can occur on products with internal grids, not on all products. We replaced his glass on two separate occasions in an effort to make him happy. We are sorry that this does not meet ***** standards. Our glass is produced by the largest manufacturer in the world. We can provide a letter directly from them, stating that this is normal, natural, and cannot be avoided during the manufacturing process. The sliding glass door is under warranty, and we look forward to servicing you if need be. Thank you for your business,Illinois Energy Management
