I donated plasm 3 times and was supposed to get $160. Biolife made me use their prepaid card system which is a racket to take the money you sell your plasma for. They stole every ***** off my prepaid card and won't refund me.

I have been donating for years at the same location in ************, **. Tonight I went there and I was waiting to donate when they finally came and said they had an issue in the system and I was not going to be able to donate. I asked if I was getting paid. The manager came and with a lot of arrogance, told me that he applied a coupon to my account and I could go back the next day. However, that would totally mess up my other coupon. I needed to donate 2x to get paid that week. He told me to move to a different area and I asked if I was still getting paid. He said: I don't know. I said: I drove here for nothing and you don't know if I am getting paid or not? I just need an answer. Next thing, he said he was gonna call the police on me. Tried to get me in a room with him (no idea why as I NEVER threatened him). Meanwhile, a random white man starts yelling in front of everyone that I was wrong and that they should call the police on me. This was an explicit case of DISCRIMINATION. I am a Latina woman. I did absolutely nothing to receive the treatment I received. The manager treated me like I was less than human. If you pull the camera, he had this smile on his face all the time and was RUDE for no reason, really acting like he was above me and I had no right to ask for an explanation at all. I will continue to escalate this issue through all channels.

Don't waste your time. I've been donating blood and plasma for ten years now at *********. When my friend referred me to this place saying I could get paid cash I went straight there and I'm sorry I ever went. They made me come back 3 times and obtain a doctor's release all because I had a minor surgery 3 months prior. I took their preprinted release to my doctor, he signed it then dropped it at BioLife. I received a call from them saying I was now cleared. I made an appointment to donate and upon arrival they deferred me again. The woman in the office there said I wasn't released and then left me sitting in her office while she took care of another donated. This was my 4th attempt at donating at this place. So I left never to return again. They make things up to turn donations away and pick and choose who gets to donate and when. Total **** show full of employees not wanting to do their jobs. I wasted so much gas and time to be treated like c*** by them I'll never go back. ***, I did some checking and this is a Japanese owned company based in ***** and not even registered with the BBB. Not sure why they're even here I think I'll ask **** ******* to check into these guys as they don't seem legit.

I went to the Biolife in *****, *****. The first visit was 2 years ago and I was refused service due to having my service dog with me. The second time 2 years later my service dog had passed away, so I thought I'd try again with donating and was refused due to not having him with me.(even though I was turned down the first time for having a service dog.) So now with him passed on I have to prove I can do it with out him. Fair enough made an appointment with my doctor got the ok. First donation went fine, 2nd donation they left my arm bruised to the point it was wrapped all the way around my arm and my elbow had water balloon sized sack of fluid popping out of my elbow. Then have me waste over an hour to be told I have to restart the whole process. I then asked to file a complaint which I was told to do online after the manager did not want to hear my complaint at all and asked me to leave. An hour later they called me to inform me that I am no longer allowed to donate with them. They had no sense of bed side manner or professionalism at all. They were rude and short with all interactions. The nurse and reception is were the only exceptions. In all I feel like they were trying to punish me for having the gall to complain about their unprofessional way of handling customer service or injuring me as well. All in all bad experience and would strongly advise against using their services.

I went to BioLife today in *******, **. I arrived by 3:00 pm. My appt was at 2:50 pm. I understand there is a 10 minute grace ******* I was within the appointment time which I was in. The door closed at 3:10 PM. The staff continued to refuse to check me in was extremely rude and condescending. This was my third trip to BioLife this week. My iron was low yesterday so i had to come back today for a third time. I am a consistent donor which they absolutely had no care for. I spoke to ***** who was the supervisor who was completely rude condescending unhelpful and unprofessional. He was interruptive arrogant and cold. Then I spoke to ***** **** who was a complete JOKE of a manager. She was the coldest, most condescending, rude, abrupt, interruptive heartless manager I've ever spoke with in my life. ***** refused to listen to anything that I had to say. She talked over me consistently and threatened to actually call the police if I didn't leave lol. Its laughable. This is how they treat their consistent donors who are there to help save lives of people in need. All because they couldn't do their jobs and override the login so that I could donate. This has been done in the past so I know it is possible!! Talk about an incompetent uneducated staff!!***** and ***** will be the reason I NEVER go back to BioLife and tell all my friends and family never to donate there ********* add insult to injury, they had a line of donors still waiting to donate of about ***************************************************** away when I had an appointment and was within my timeframe. The WORST BIOLIFE CENTER EVER!!! Stay away from this one!!

My name is **** A Krellcom. A retired Disabled Veteran & both of us senior citizens. I have been trying to donate plasma at BioLife for a couple years with no success in jumping through all their Hoops of fire! Today 10.24.2024 my wife and I visited the ******** IA location and as we were getting checked in, the front desk young lady in blue was very professional, Courteous. But the Center Manager ***** was very disrespectful, unprofessional and power tripping during our visit. ****** The Center Manager made our visit embarrassing, stressful and non-productive! We're contemplating not returning!

I would suggest avoiding this place whenever there's something "fun" going on in *********** that their employees would rather be. Keep in mind, today is *******************'s Homecoming game. I had an appointment set for 3pm today, which I set over a week ago. At around 9:30am I get a call from them claiming "staffing issues" and attempting to get me to reschedule to another day. I knew that was bogus because they've literally never made a request like that before and I've been donating here for months, so I basically told them no and if anything, they could reschedule me to earlier in the day. When I got here at 10:40 I requested a corporate number to report them not wanting to do their jobs... then they took it out on me by purposely skipping over me. It is noon and they are just now hooking me up to this machine after leaving me laying in this bed for 30 minutes. Completely unprofessional.

Go elsewhere or do not sell your blood's precious fluid. This place is gave me incorrect information on multiple occasions, was not reliable, and I thought was the upfront office people were unprofessional and possible ill-trained. I had been to 5 different centers from 3 different plasma companies since 2005 and have "donated" maybe 300 times and never told I was out of specification for hematocrits. In one week I was over the specs and donated the next day with no problem them came back two days later and was reportedly under specs for hematocrits even though I ate just fine, was hydrated and I know the drill. It NEVER happened to me after all these standing in long lines to get screened that I ever had a problem, maybe even coming in hungover and eaten pizza for supper and coffee for breakfast. But I was almost always diligent and was hydrated and ate enough proteins with no negatives the day before and during the approach to donating. This never happened before. They were a pain in the a** being a new donor even though I knew the drill. They ran me off after I ran out a bunch of valuable gas to get there and there was no discernible reason for any of it. End of them. Nice girls on the donor floor though. Yet S**** BioLife, they are nothing about Life or You.
