1 starCrow tow drivers choose to tow peoples cars as much as they possibly can. I ran out to my car when it was being hooked up and asked them if they could possibly drop my car. They told me the cash drop fee was $140 and $145 if I used card. I told them that I had to run inside and come right back out with my card. As soon as I turned around and took about 3 steps, the drivers drove off and I ended up having to order a ride to crowtow and pay about $50 more. Basically theft.Crow Tow

Mr *** As was explained to you before, it is a safety issue. Part of the driver's job is to protect himself. He makes no more money taking your drop fee at the scene vs you having to redeem it at the impound yard. The driver does not know if you are leaving to get money or to get a weapon and as such is instructed to leave if he has a clear path to do so. I am sorry this policy frustrates you but hopefully you can understand why it is in place.Review fromHannah R

1 starCrow Tow is absolutely a predatory towing company. Has anyone else noticed that in all of the Crow Tow's responses to complaints - not once do they ever take responsibility or admit fault-apparently Crow Tow is such a perfect towing company that they never make mistakes. More like they are really good at taking advantage of people unethically, claiming lack of laws or property management rules gives them the right. I'm sorry that you were parked in a spot that didn't have clear signs- there's no law against that and it's the property management companies responsibility and we offer free signs to them upon request. I'm sorry, a blade of grass was touching your tire or your tags were out of date -it's up to the property owners, we are only fulfilling our contractual agreement patrolling and towing cars. The fact that he pays his drivers bonuses for every car towed and pays these property management companies spotter fees only encourages the tow drivers and property management team to leave intentional tow traps- costing innocent people hundreds of dollars and stranding them at the same time. Or how bout the complaint where the person wanted access to personal items- they respond saying that access will be given for emergency items but when the person responded that wasn't true because the employee wouldn't even listen to them, Crow Tow again responds with bs. Why not apologize? I don't know why anyone would go to one of his auctions to try and buy one of the stolen cars since he bids up vehicles and holds them for a few months if he doesn't get what he thinks they are worth. And what's with the body camera's? I'm sure employees don't wear those the night before auctions when they go through and steal personal items. But by all means keep them, hopefully it prevents them from being bigger jerks when dealing with people -that is if they haven't found the on/off buttonReview fromJohn H

1 starThey are truly appalling, I know several people that have been towed by them. They were even towing vehicles in our neighborhood on Halloween night, but this experience was with my daughter. She runs an in-home daycare, mother who just had a baby and just had surgery, parked car even out of her car 10 minutes and they swung by and immediately called them and they claimed they were closed so she now has to wait till the next day to retrieve her laptop, purse, etc. has three small children and my daughters like you could at least have some common decency and the operator was like nope, poor customer ********************** they lost their contract with the city for a reason. Obviously, there was no signage to say no parking as there was in other parts of that area. I dont know how they sleep at night but when youre used to doing this to people day in and day out just tells you what kind of people they are ! ******!Review fromAngela M

1 starPredatory practice of Crow Tow drivers sitting and waiting to tow cars within minutes of leaving vehicles. I saw two different tow vehicles within 5 min of discovering my car missing from the parking lot I did not know required a permit. From what I understand this business gives drivers extra for each tow. According to the *** even in a restricted lot, a car has to be abandoned for 24 hrs before a tow is performed. I will be reporting this here and making it known all over social media about this company and contacting my lawyer.Crow Tow

The property in question is paid parking stalls reserved for residents of the building. The property has signs at the entrance designating the lot as such. Complainant chose to ignore the warning and steal use of the lot from those who have paid for it. Those people expect the amenity they've paid for to always be available for them and as such expect prompt service when it is not. This is not a predatory practice, this is good customer service for our clients. Complainant also has a misunderstanding of DOT regulations as they do not apply to private property. Crow Tow has been in this industry for 25 years and is the best as what we do. If you want to pay a lawyer to confirm this for you, that is your choice. Good luck on your future endeavors.Review fromJessica R

1 starI called this business this morning in regard to a customers vehicle that was impounded by the local police department. I simply just called to get information on the vehicle such as to verify they had the vehicle and what would be needed to get the vehicle out and cost. The lady that answered the phone was VERY RUDE.. When asking her to repeat the cost of getting said vehicle out of impound, she got upset put me on hold, transferred me to a man that was equally as rude, when I advised him that I just needed the cost to get the vehicle out because I did not hear what she said, he said "she has told you 4 times, I'm sitting right next to her.. We are very busy" advised him she told me once I asked her to repeat herself and then she transferred me to you because I clearly in-convinced her by asking her to repeat herself. He put me on hold and then transferred me back to the lady, who is mad cause I need the total amount owed repeated. She tells me again as she is rambling on about other things and again I did not hear the amount to which I got transferred and ended the call with the man. I'm still unsure of the exact amount owed to get the vehicle out of their impound lot. Their customer ********************** is awful.Crow Tow

Crow Tow offers unlimited free signage to all of our partners but there is no state or local regulation requiring the private property to display any signage. That is at the discretion of each property individually. As a tenant, your son has been made aware of all parking policies through his management company even if he does not have a vehicle of his own. It is the tenants responsibility to notify their visitors of the parking policies while visiting. Crow Tow is only the enforcement arm of the parking policy. Crow Tow accurately followed the guidelines set by the property and as such, the tow and fees are valid.Review fromLavender P

1 starToday on June 22nd 2024 about 30 mins before noon I called crow tow and when my call was answered I was immediately cut off mid sentence on why I was calling by one of the ladies in the office. By the time I got there they were being even more rude, lied to my face, racially profiled me and my family. Then when we were finally getting our vehicle out of the impound we noticed that our rim to our vehicle was completely destroyed from the tow. They kept trying to deny us the pictures of the vehicle they took when they towed our car. They wouldnt state any names or even let us speak to a supervisor. My family and I feel so humiliated and disrespected by the whole staff on duty today. We want to pursue legal action for the damages to the vehicle and also emotional distress.Crow Tow

Sir, you appeared to have hit a curb and then dumped your vehicle in the nearest parking lot as it was undrivable. That parking lot is a permit only area reserved for paying tenants of that building and as such your vehicle was towed and then you left it at the impound yard for a week. After leaving the car for that week, you then requested the business to stay open after hours to accommodate your actions which was unreasonable. The driver took pictures of the wheel and bumper you destroyed prior to towing your vehicle so should you choose to file a fraudulent lawsuit, Crow Tow is well prepared to defend itself. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes but blaming the tow company for your own actions instead of taking personal responsibility disheartening. Regardless, good luck to you in your future endeavors. Crow Tow is the reliable choice for all of your towing needs and we would be happy to assist you should you ever need our services in the future.Review fromSusan Z

5 starsGave fast affordable service when I locked myself out of my running vehicle. Still cant figure out why the lockout feature didnt work. CC, ******* and **** were reassuring from the office. The driver was super nice and fast. Thank you! Im not sure people realize they can help with lockouts. It was so much faster than the 4 hours it was going to take insurance to send a locksmith.Crow Tow

1 starAbsolutely no signs ro tow at apartment complex. I am an NP and see disabled people at their home. Got towed for less than 30 minutes to see a patient. Predatory and lying practice. There is still NO signs at the apartments so I will no longer see patients there due to their practiceCrow Tow

Signage placement and quantity is at the discretion of each property and in **** there is no legal requirement of private property to have signage. However, Crow Tow as an ethical vehicle impounder does offer signage free to properties on a request basis. Crow Tow cannot ascertain whether signage was present during this interaction but it is a moot point as there is no legal requirement of such for a private property. Notification was sent to all tenants of the property that it was their responsibility to inform all visitors of the parking rules of the complex. Perhaps whoever the complainant was visiting should have explained the parking rules to their visitor as all residents are made aware by their property managers. Notification is not the responsibility of the tower. At all times Crow Tow acts within the guidelines of all laws and the direction provided by property managers.
