My girlfriend has purchased 3 hyundai vehicles and she took her new hyundai santa fe calligraphy to get an oil change. On her way to the dealer she realized she had a screw in her tire. Due to the lack of service techs she left the vehicle at the dealership. I accompanied her in the afternoon to pick up the car and at the service desk I realized she was charged for a new tire. I asked the service tech why she got a new tire and they said she had a screw in the sidewall of the tire. I asked to see the tire and they broilught me the tire with a screw in the repairable area of the tire and not the sidewall. It was a clear inch and a half away from the edge of the tire on the flat area. I asked the tech why they replaced it and they started arguing with me as to the fact that that's all they do. After debit and asking them to please prilovide something on paper showing that the tire needs replacement as oppose to repair they refused. This was in the evening. I told them we no longer want the new tire and to please just swap it back and we would go elsewhere. They said no, refused to change the tire back and forced us to purchase the tire to get our car back. I asked them numerous times to remove this tire as we do not want it and we would even pay for the mounting of the tire again and they refused to force us to purchase a tire and or hold the car hostage. After manager on duty was called in he has now denied further services to us and said he does not care what we do. We do not need this tire and he refuses to repair safety recall items on a car with full warrenty. May I also add everyone was professional and nobody used vulgar language. It amazes me how little care is given to returning customers of hyundai. I have the old tire and will be happy to show anyone where the damage is and they can sew for themselves how hyundai is stealing and manipulating customers for money in my opinion. Never again will we purchase a hyundai
