I will start by saying that Tom Ferry has some wonderful FREE coaching material and he seems like a stand up gentleman which is what gets others like me sucked in. I feel like he must not understand what is even going on behind the scenes with the coaching program. It is a total scam. The coaching program is absolutely awful on so many levels. It begins with the forceful and humiliating consultation. I still can't believe I allowed them to convince me to sign up. The salesperson was so nasty and demeaning. Then the company tried to pair me unsuccessfully with coaches. I truly believe there is no real compatability method in placement used here. I was never placed with a coach that actually fit what I was looking for. I ultimately paid around $7,000 while continuing to get the run-around looking for thr right coach. I stuck with one for a while because she was nice and I felt kind of bad so I gave her a chance. She said herself that she wasn't really able to help me. I never got any resolution from my initial complaints. They owe me coaching calls that were paid for that I no longer even want. The company has a money back guarantee that they don't honor. TF actually made sure to go ahead and cancel my contract so that they could use the loophole and keep all of my money paid.Business response

Regarding your coaching, I've reviewed several of your coaching calls with your coach and did note that there was robust content provided which included discussion and reworking your commission structure which would increase your take home pay, tracking, lead generation strategy, business schedule, Business *********************** a daily text with your coach for accountability, ******************* posting, hour of power and FB stories to name a few.

On January 24, 2022, our real estate team signed up with Tom Ferry coaching. We have been coaching with KW MAPS for 7 years and decided to give TF coaching a try. We paid 3 months in advance and had our first coach session on Feb 3, 2022. The coaching call is designed to be 30 minutes call and the coach talked about himself and how great he was for literally 2 hours and 56 minutes. the coach call was more about his greatness than anything else so I kept reminding him about our business situation and that we wanted to jump right into it. So the first call was a failure and very disappointing. Then for our second coach call, the coach forgot we had a coaching session that day and after reaching out to TF customer service the coach texted and apologized. We rescheduled that call for later on in the afternoon and the call lasted again almost 3 hours with the coach repeating his greatness and how successful he was. I kept interrupting trying to get to the actual coaching with no success. So we decided to cancel as we were not actually getting the coaching and calls were not kept at 30 minutes (3 hours of pain instead). I contacted sales and customer support and they were very unprofessional, to say the least in handling the cancellation request. I requested a full refund as I felt we did not get what we were offered as coaching. Tom Ferry coaching only refunded $1,473 and still owes $749. When I called to ask for the difference the salesperson assigned told me to "screw myself"! What a way to communicate with clients! This is a shocking experience for our team as we have heard great things about this company and the coaching they offer.Business response

There is nothing else to discuss. I have already explained several times in phone conversations and emails to include now here with the BBB. Is as simple as doing the right thing as a business and move forward hopefully learning from your mistakes.Business response

I was billed $649 on the 21st of each month from September through December 2021. The business promised to provide valuable support and direction to grow my real estate business. During the interactions, the "coach" wouldn't spend any time going through forms or documents. He didn't spend any time explaining the ins and outs of a transaction or explain any specific strategy that I could execute to drive the business forward.Business response

I would like to take the opportunity to review what transpired when you signed up for coaching.
You signed up for a 12 month coaching program September 202. You made 2 of 12 payments and the 3rd payment declined. The 2 payments you paid covered caoching 4 calls, yet you received 7 coaching calls. You currently owe for 3 coaching calls.
Your intake assessment states that you wanted organization and an action plan. I reviewed your coaching calls with your coach and discovered that your coach gave you a 30 day action plan, 30 day marketing plan, role playing, scripting, tracking and organization. You had at least one closing during the 7 coaching calls. You asked to transfer to a new coach and as requested interviewed the new coach with the promise to make a payment. You did not continue and you requested to cancel coaching.
Unfortunately you did not avail yourself to the program and did not complete the homework or tasks and cancelled your coaching prematurely.

This has been a dreadful experience from the start. The recruiter from Tom Ferry is full of misleading information, empty promises, verbally forceful and demeaning when selling their value. I actually felt pressured into joining though I understand it was ultimately my choice. They also guarantee on this call that you will get all money back to convince you that it is a win/win situation. The payment is immediately withdrawn once you agree to the scam of a contract then it takes weeks to get set up with a coach. They do not pair you the way they claim to. I had to reach out via text and email multiple times before the coach even contacted me after the placement was made. The 1st session she actually said to me on the that she fit me in at the end of her day so she is a little tired by then. She seemed not to care at all. So, I requested a different coach. The next coach interviewed me said I am not good candidate for coaching and he refused me as a client. He said he only works with clients that have ADDITIONAL MONEY to spend on things like marketing and advertising. This was extremely disheartening especially after I had just been convinced I was the perfect candidate for coaching by the recruiter. But, at this point it is too late, you are trapped in their contract. The next coach I felt like I settled for. I went through the motions but never felt inspired, never learned anything new or useful, nothing productive about our calls at all. She was a very kind and seemed to be a wonderful person but did not bring anything to the table coaching. I had expected assignments, accountability, new ideas, social media and/or marketing strategies, anything to help me produce more business. Nothing. I filled out the forms they send out asking how coaching is going and I responded with zero new business. I will also add that I am a licensed Broker with ************************************************************************** a tough market. I have more to add but no room.Business response

I signed up for coaching on October 8th at a real estate seminar. There were huge promises made and some great coaches were introduced. Im now a month in and still havent had a single coaching session and havent even been assigned a fitting coach. Ive requested assistance several times, finally requesting cancellation several times since Im paying $1400 a month for services NOT provided. Im ignored 90% of the time and given the runaround the other 10%. Theyre about to **** again so Im going to put a stop payment on the card. This experience has completely ruined Tom Ferry for me.
