    7/26/2022 I just got hung up on by ***** the cancellation manager and customer service manager of millennium. CUSTOMER SERVICE manager. I exchanged no raised voice or inappropriate language. Millennium refused to cancel my services unless I pay not only 75% of my last year but an additional 1 year. 1 year beyond ************** terms. (24 months) ***** & Millennium told me I need to pay whatever amount is arbitrarily deemed the cost of the equipment. My contract says the equipment is $1 and all other costs are $0. I was referred to section 15 which does not even use the word equipment or reference my need to pay for the equipment. ***** and Millennium claim equipment cost is $800!! An extra year of services with *** beyond what I've agreed by ********** law is being charged. Millennium then told me I need to call my installer from a year ago and schedule him to come by to pick up their equipment! I couldn't careless about having those items in my home but I am not responsible to call them to schedule their pick up! In order cancel i'm told *** needs to be called then I need to call back millennium and cancel again and then call their technicians and arrange my schedule for him to come collect non working equipment. Do not work with this company. Millennium's leadership for the customers experience (*****, ******************) feel the most effective way for the company to work with their customers is to belittle, mislead and hang up on them. Apparently asking Millennium to abide by state law and their contract equipment cost is unacceptable for the company. I am filing a complaint with BBB and the attorney general office today.
