I was contacted by a company called, Signiture Loan Services claiming to be part of the student loan forgiveness program. They had all of my legit information and explained I would make a total of 5 payments, in the amount of $289.99 and one payment in the amount of $314.99. All of the payments were auto-drafted from **************. The whole time I thought I was paying back the parts of my student loan that were not forgiven. Come to find out this was a scam! NONE of my student loan was forgiven and nothing I paid went toward my loan. I am in the process of filing a complaint with my bank in hopes of getting some reimbursement.

I was scammed out of $870 by DocPrepPay.com ********** PPD ID: ********** They pretended to be part of the ********** of ********* and told me I can consolidate my loans and have them forgiven, which would entail me paying $289.99 per month for 6 months. I asked numerous times if this was all I needed to do to have my loans forgiven. They said yes every single time, even when I called them to confirm the fake "packet" they sent me in the mail. Today, I called my loan servicer, Nelnet, and they didn't even have an online account registered for me, let alone a payment plan. They said they didn't see any payments on my account in the last 3 months, even though I've paid that $289.99 every month for the last 3 months. It turns out, I was actually paying for a subscription to a service pretending to help me get my loans forgiven. They were taking all of the money, all the while reassuring me that everything was taken care of and I wouldn't have to make any further loan payments after my last payment of $289.99.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! Do not fall for it like I did!! I did not find out that FDPS was a scam until I came on BBB and I also was reading on the student aid gov website that any real loan assistance programs dont charge you for help. I continued doing my research on the student loan website and unfortunately yes this is a third party scam. Unfortunately, for me I fell for this trick and now they have all my information and I am just trying to change it and stop all charges. They told me that they would consolidate my loans up to $1600 and with the remaining of only needing to pay $2500. However, I had to pay $289.74 for 4 months before actually beginning my school payments. I was told I would begin to pay $175 starting October. On top of that they charge a service fee of $39.99 monthly. They took out all four payments and my first charge was on June 30,2022 and my last charge was on October 31,2022. I just want my money refunded back to me $1,156.

This dispute is in reference to:FEDERAL DOCUMENTATION PREPARATION SERVICES, LLC AKA "DocPrepPay.com"4695 ********************************************************************************* I was mailed several notices with a supposed deadline to my physical address from F.D.P.S saying that they can work with me on a repayment plan on behalf of NELNET/Department of Education. The letter contained my benefit ID number from FAFSA, information about being eligible for total loan forgiveness, and information directing me to studentaid.gov. It looked very convincing. They seemed legit at first, even going as far as to pull up my student loan information as well as having my personal information on hand. They asked for all of my information involving pretty much everything about my life in terms of my DOB/SSN/address/previous addresses, and banking information, etc. They had my information on how much I have in student loan debt and agreed to submit the application for approval. The agreement was to charge me a monthly "document preparation fee schedule" in the amount of $289.99 in 6 installment , and then $39 every month thereafter for several years later, until the debt was over. I was told the payments would be made to reflect my balance with NELNET/Department of Education. I called NELNET/US **** of **** to ask them if they had received any notices from F.D.P.S because I was working with them to consolidate my loans and if any payment was made to them at all and their answer was no.I have the documentation to reflect that F.D.P.S is a fake business that is NOT affiliated with NELNET/Department of Education AT ALL. On my bank statement, I noticed "DocPrepPay.com" was withdrawing the money from my account which is when I first became suspicious. Since June 6, 2022, they have withdrawn a total of $1159.96. Not a dime has been sent to my *** **** of Ed ******** FEDERAL DOCUMENTATION PREPARATION SERVICES, LLC AKA "DocPrepPay.com" is fraudulent, and now I am disputing this case with my bank.
