Member is referring to a test Called Maternity 21, It is to define an early gender of the baby during the first trimester. This test is not mandatory for us to carry. We do not supply this test, The laboratory supplies this test as a courtesy in assisting to eliminate the first AFP. The reason they have been unable to supply us with this test is because the Laboratory is out of stock. We are on the waiting list.

Not only relating to a maternity test but also every time I go for a ultrasound they also never have it. Out of my whole pregnancy Iam currently now 15 weeks pregnant & they have only provided with 1 ultrasound & 1 picture. Every check up I go to the doctor also doesn't check correctly for a babies heart beat it's always rushed. I don't under why they don't ever call out of courtesy to let patients know they don't have certain equipment to save us the time & trip. They're all very inconsiderate to patients. I never asked for the maternity test they're the ones who brought it to my attention & keep scheduling me for that test. Also the ultrasound & to add on the Down syndrome test they also fail to preform every time I'm scheduled. They're also not testing my urine when I do have an appointment. All appointments are 4 weeks apart & nothing is ever done. Every single time because of this situation that very same day which was my last appointment 1/19/2022 I called my insurance and changed my provider. This clinic just hires any one. Very unprofessional & will not be returning.

Prenatal visits every 4 weeks is standard and routine in the first and early second trimester in an uncomplicated pregnancy. Every visit, urine is collected and checked (unless the patient does not provide a urine sample in which 01/19/2022 she did not leave sample), vitals signs and weights taken, and screening questions for problems with the pregnancy asked. The fetal heart tones are also heard on the doppler machine, usually for a short time (10-15 seconds) to confirm the fetus is viable. By 15 weeks of gestation it is normal to have 1 ultrasound to confirm the gestational age, the next ultrasound would be at approximately 20 weeks to evaluate fetal anatomy. The Maternity21 (NIPT) test is only one of the many ways to screen patients for babies with chromosomal disorders. If that test is unavailable, the clinic will use the other screening modalities. If the OBGYN doctor is unavailable for any reason (most commonly at the hospital doing delivery or surgery) every attempt is made to call and reschedule the patients. The ultrasound is not scheduled to be at the clinic every week, and an ultrasound would not be warranted every visit.

My unborn child's heart beat is never heard for not even 2 seconds. I've made note of that twice. The audacity this clinic has to cover & save themselves is upsetting. Never have received a call stating certain equipment, test or doctor aren't available. To add on my urine was tested once or twice since when arrived at 4 weeks pregnant I haven't been tested since. Ive been to other clinics where I won't leave until they collect a urine sample. Also every 4 weeks that I go doctor always says "sorry we won't be able to preform ultrasound. We don't have it right now." Then, I'll get scheduled again in 4 weeks so they can tell me the same to my prior visits. Like I stated this is by far the worst clinic I've ever been to. I'm only stating facts. They are very unprofessional. They don't prioritize patients nor care. Won't be replying after this message. City needs to go check for themselves & shut that clinic down. The reviews say it all. I'm not lying. As I stated I've switched provider already and won't be returning. BBB needs to send under cover patients to confirm what's been said. It's clear as day this clinic will try & cover themselves for their own convenience. Wont be going back & fourth. Have a good day.
