    The experience at this hospital was the worst in my life. I was told HOURS AFTER I dropped of my pet that if you don't pay upfront and SOON, they keep the animal until you do pay. I was like, WHAT THE ****? Additionally, the older front the front desk attendant called me and bit my head off for asking for a payment plan (my bill was ****** I asked them to show me the fine print and any documentation that discloses that. I was told it's not their fault I cannot pay on time and that they are "doing me a favor" by keeping him here. Also they not only REFUSED to let me talk to the Doctor when I went to ask again in person later that day. They straight up CALLED the LAPD while I was there because I "was being difficult." I didn't know questioning a strange policy warrants calling the police. Extremely unprofessional. They made me cry in front of everyone. It was utterly humiliating. I'm filing a dispute with the american veterinary medical association and the better business bureau. I mean, WHO DOES THAT?

    There's no record of my such a disclosure agreement, NOR was I informed of this police PRIOR to paying. While I didn't do anything wrong, nor was a police report written, I start to cry like baby because I get the police called on me for ASKING QUESTIONS. I profess my displeasure to the older front office worker who merely says, "I have no reason to talk to you. Pay and leave." She goes to the next room and starts speaking Korean. I blurt out, "I speak Korean and what you are saying isn't very lady-like." In short, I pay. I cry as the give me my cat, Before I leave, I tell the front office, "Calling the cops on me is UNCONSCIONABLE. YOU PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE. I'M NEVER COMING BACK."

    I'm still shaking since it just happened today. I plan on pursuing this further because that kind of harassment is unjustly and uncalled for. I am surprised no one has sued them yet. Anyone planning on going, ask about the pet keeping policy and demand that they put it in writing.
