On August 26, 2023 I emailed The Camp ****** that I would like to freeze my moms and my gym membership account because we werent able to continue to go due to an injury we had during a hike. ( I twisted my ankle and my mom hurt her arm -nothing severe but painful enough ) I understood that I needed to notify them two weeks in advance if I wanted to freeze our membership due to unexpected circumstances I notified asap. My bank was charged $294 for the month of Septembers membership. I was okay with that since I was planning to come back once we were ready, the camp said they would reach out to us at the end of November to see if we needed more time and that September charge will be a credit I can use when we go back. Yet they still tried charging my account for the membership the next month, harassing us with calls and emails and threatening us to collections if we did not pay for October and Novembers membership. It was very overwhelming and we decided to cancel our membership on October 24, ******************************************************************************************************************* going, I also asked for my credit charge to be refunded. They emailed me back saying the membership was in progress to begin canceled and offered me another credit to keep going. I denied it and only asked for my September charge refund back. The Camp has been ignoring my email and I havent received anything back. I checked the agreement we signed and nothing states I can not receive my refund back for a cancellation. I cant get ahold of them and decided to file a proper complaint to BBB and hope to get my money refunded. Thank you.
