Horrible scam. Venues and artists should quit using this company. Had to sell tickets for a show that weren't going to be used. The show is 6 months away and the tickets sold instantly. Ticketmaster now has my money. The new purchasers money. Extra fees on top of that. They will not release my payment untill 7 days after the event that is 6 months after I listed my tickets at Face Value. Not to mention, I have screenshot proof of payment supposedly sent, payment terms being 5-7 business days after sold, and now payment being on hold. Holding payment on one item from multiple people does not sound legal to me.

Unfair Ticket Pricing Lack of Accountability by Ticketmaster and Live Nation I purchased tickets early through Ticketmaster for the Blackpink concert in *******, paying over CA $850 per ticket. At the time of purchase, there was no mention of a second show being added. However, on the same day, a second concert was announced, offering comparable or better seats for nearly half the price. This lack of transparency directly affected my purchasing decision. After raising the issue, Ticketmaster shifted responsibility to Live Nation, while Live Nation failed to respond entirely. I am not asking for a refund or to cancel my tickets I still intend to attend the concert. I am simply seeking a fair adjustment to reflect the significant price difference caused by this unfair practice. As the primary ticketing platform, Ticketmaster should be protecting consumers, not leaving them with no recourse. Extremely disappointing experience.

My recent experience with Ticketmaster has been deeply concerning and incredibly frustrating, compounded by their abysmal customer service. I attempted to purchase tickets and was immediately presented with a seemingly pressured option to pay an additional fee to 'secure' my tickets. Shortly after completing the purchase, I discovered that the funds were not merely on hold, but had actually been processed and taken from my account. Alarmingly, immediately following this, I received notification that the tickets were voided and canceled. This exact scenario played out across two separate attempts using different payment methods on their platform. This sequence of events, where my money was taken for tickets that were instantly voided, has caused significant inconvenience, requiring multiple phone calls. The customer service interactions have been equally disappointing. When speaking with representatives I encountered unprofessional attitudes with a condescending and frankly unpleasant undertone. Effective communication nearly impossible, and it became clear they lacked the authority to resolve any issues.Attempting to resolve this has been difficult. Direct communication with management seems impossible, with the only option being to submit a request for a callback within a ***** hour window, without any scheduled appointment. Adding to the frustration, I received an email claiming multiple missed calls from them, none of which ever occurred on my end. It's clear their entire system and communication are a *******, based on my unbelievable experience of paying for tickets that were immediately canceled, not just once but twice in completely separate accounts with different credit cards, and the fact that they actually took my money for them (plus that extra 'secure' fee each time!), combined with their truly awful customer service!! Scam.

I was trying to receive payment for tickets I sold to show in the **, I am in ******. After selling my tickets I realized that I could only receive the money from the ticket sales in USD to a bank in the **. I do have a USD bank account at a ************** and entered information to accept wire transfer through a US bank intermediary. I was told to expect two microdeposits to verify my account information. I waited the 7 to 10 business days and when no deposits arrived I contacted customer support for the first time. After explaining my issue, I was told to delete the information and re-enter it. I did this and waited 7 days before contacting support again. Then they told me to delete the information and re-enter it or use a Debit card (US bank) instead. I explained that this is the only US banking information I have and asked if there is another way to get the payment. I was told to call my bank and see if they were blocking the small deposits. I contacted my bank and they were not blocking the deposits. I reported this and the next email I got was from a different agent who asked me why I wanted a refund. When I explained (again) that I wanted my payment for tickets sold she started over with telling me to delete the bank info and re-enter it, or use a Debit card. My ticket had been restarted. Fortunately, during this process I read on Reddit about how bad the TicketMaster customer support is and I took the advice to contact the BBB. I opened a complaint and within a day got a resolution from the BBB that TicketMaster would mail me a cheque. But I continued with the customer service emails just to see how long it would take. I did have my ticket "escalated" and this time they did seem to actually read my email and realized that I was getting a cheque ********************* - don't bother with TicketMaster customer support, it is useless, just do a credit card chargeback if you are owed a refund, or contact the BBB to get your issue resolved in any kind of timely fashion

E- giftcards through ******** does not work! Two attempts and multiple calls with both Ticketmaster and Cashstar. After placing order, each time I receive two simultaneous emails, one saying thank you for your order and another saying order cannot be processed. *********** shows pending charges. I opened a support ticket for the first and it was closed by stating that even if approved by financial institution, it could not be processed on their end. I called and was told I would get an email that would have it all "sorted" and would include a link to the e-card. Instead, I got another email telling me it could not be processed. I verified the information on my account and tried again. Same thing. I do not have time to order a physical card and they are no longer sold in stores. Apparently, everything I read about Ticketmaster is true.....no the fun part of making sure the pending charges drop off my account and off to buy a stub hub card instead

      Hello,

We are sorry to hear that you had trouble purchasing a gift card through Cash Star. Regrettably, Ticketmaster does not process the gift card orders, so we do not have the ability to refund the order. You must contact Cash Star for assistance. If needed, the phone number is **************.

Agree with others DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM TICKETMASTER if remotely possible. Particularly, for 1, do not trust presale tickets - they will not be cheaper and in fact are likely to be way more expensive. I found better tickets and bought those thinking I could exchange or sell the other. few days before the concert still, but seems very clear that's not happened, certainly not for the price I paid if at all. The process to sell also does not work. I complained that I can not access the seller's page on the app, and am not getting notifications about the status. They don't care. I was referred by the agent to useless help pages. Claimed the "event organizer" wouldn't allow exchanges. SO...who the h*** are they? I'd like to complain about them to the BBB too. It's fighting windmills to complain about Ticketmaster but it's something. TLDR DON'T BUY OR SELL ON TICKETMASTER.

      Hello,

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer courtesy refunds. The face value price of tickets is determined by our clients. In most circumstances, face value prices are set at the time of the initial on-sale and stay the same until the event occurs. However, prices can be adjusted up or down after the tickets go on sale, prices may also vary. When an order is placed through the Ticketmaster website, it is a requirement that our Purchase Policy & Terms of Use are agreed to, including Section 11, titled Refunds, Credits, and Exchanges. Paragraph 6 outlines the following: We may occasionally offer tickets at a discount after the original on-sale date and will not refund the difference between the original price and the sale price.
Please refer to our purchase policy, linked below, for additional information:

      **************************************************************************************

Additionally, we show that you were able to successfully post your tickets for resale. The decision to offer or not offer the resale option is decided by the event organizer. They can also decide to turn this option off/on at any time.

Terrible company. Sold me tickets to see the Eagles in the ********* Sphere and made it look like I was able to sell my tickets if needed. Not only did sell button not work, but TM prevented me from selling my tickets on **********. Very misleading and terrible company.

      Hello,

We are sorry to hear that you were unable to transfer or sell your tickets.

Verified resale and ticket transfer are not guaranteed to be enabled/available for every event because Ticketmaster sells tickets on behalf of the event organizers, artists, promoters, venues, which own the tickets and help determine how those tickets are sold. A customer would need to reach out to ********************** ahead of their purchase should they need to inquire about the possibility of resale and/or transfer.

I wanted to go to a concert for my birthday. As soon as tickets released I put two meet and greet VIP tickets in my cart. When I clicked next to pay, the site said they were unavailable. I was really upset but I purchased sounds check tickets instead. I found later there WERE meet and greet tickets available. I called to see if I could upgrade. The guy literally took almost $300 off my debit card WITHOUT my authorization. Then they said they could not give me the upgraded tickets without a higher permission. They said I have to wait about 5 DAYS to get my money back! So now, even if the upgrade is approved, I have to wait for my money back and HOPE the tickets are still available. I don't think I'll EVER rely on Ticketmaster again! Thanks for making my birthday so stressful Ticketmaster!
