On 4/9/2025, I visited TCR2 suspension brake alignment for a scheduled alignment. Upon arrival, loud music was playing outside, and the woman at the front desk ignored me while gossiping on the phone in Spanish. Once she finally acknowledged me, I handed her my keys and left. Later, I received a call stating they couldnt perform the alignment and were offering a quote for other repairs instead.I returned to pick up my vehicle and was informed I had to pay $60 for a diagnostic I never approved. At no point during the appointment scheduling or drop-off was I told there would be a charge if they couldnt do the alignment. I have experience working in automotive shops, and I know the difference between a diagnostic and a visual inspection this was the latter.I felt misled and cornered into paying $60 just to get my car back. I even considered calling the police because it felt like they were holding my vehicle hostage. To make matters worse, the woman claimed my CV axles had to be replaced before an alignment could be done which is completely false and raises serious concerns about dishonest upselling practices. This experience felt like a scam, and I believe others could fall victim to similar treatment. Im filing this complaint in hopes of holding them accountable and preventing this from happening to others.

I visited this suspension, brake & alignment auto shop on Monday (9/11/2023) with a 10:00 a.m. appointment and was told that they would need at least one hour past this time to get to our 2004 Honda Odyssey EX. So, I volunteered to come in the next morning & was told to be there @ 9:00 a.m. I came in the next morning at least (15) minutes early. After waiting for ~ (30) minutes, I noticed that our vehicle still was unmoved. Thus, I went to the service advisor & asked him when they planned to get to this "reservation." Obviously, they have a different idea of what a reservation is than I usually associate with this term. However, this ignoring the customer request policy is just for starters.

When they finally got it physically moved into the shop, it took over another hour to "perform" what I had requested. I had gone there to get a 2nd opinion on the cost of repairing a possible power steering system fluid leak. This should not have taken more than (10-15) minutes or so.

Instead of what I asked for, I got a lengthy list of what does not work properly on this vehicle which included such unrelated write-ups of streaking windshield wiper blades, dirty air filter, the need for (4) new tires and "clunking" motor mounts.- to name a few. This is from invoice #47058. Nowhere on this invoice does it directly state where or if the power steering system was leaking-just the cost of replacing the rack & pinion actuator, all the system hoses and the system fluid. Thus, it is only implied that this system is leaking.

I truly believe that this type of "scare tactic" nonsense is typical of shops who are mostly interested in generating revenue and could not care less about the customers.

On top of all this, the "technician" apparently took this vehicle out for a "road test" without my permission. The radio controls were changed, as well as the a/c setting. The paper floor mat was also left in the vehicle for me to clean up. What a dishonest crock!

I got approved to get my vehicle repaired at this shop, It was a very expensive fix and in the process the tech broke the system that controls the abs and run flat functions of the car and are essential to safely operating the vehicle. I am sure the person panicked and the shop didn't want to pay for repairing the issue. They went as far as telling me I was lying and they received the car that way. The vehicle is used for business so it's imperative that it works well. There were no lights and no problems except for what was being repaired. I spent more that 6 days dealing with this shop and getting struts and their mounts installed. I scheduled to have the work done last Wednesday(Nov 23 2022) and my car sat at the shop the entire day and nothing was done they say because the parts they supposedly ordered the day before (Tuesday Nov 22 2022) that didn't show up complete. I returned Monday (Nov 28 2022) to have the work done. My car was there all day and they called me to get it at the end of the day broken so they couldn't address the problem then, nor did they bring what they "found" to my attention to possibly upsell the repair, which is why I'm convinced they broke it and were going to try to shift the blame or say it was existing. I returned Tuesday(NOV 29 2022) and was met with disapproval of my review of my honest experience and they are now flat out refusing to correct the problem. The repair of the struts is faulty and the car is making the same noises it was prior to having the work done. Shops shouldn't mislead customers that they can fix vehicles beyond their scope of competency. And when they break stuff they should fess up and make it right
