I started attending UAGC in May 2021. I found out that their service provider and UAGC were defrauding students, particularly minorities, women and military veterans. I decided to changed schools after the federal **** of ** and the State of Ca filed suit against them. I called to make sure that I was de-enrolled so I could get my transcripts to move to my new school and was given them. They told me I had no additional financial obligations. In 11/23, they called and said I owed near $1800. I asked for an itemized description, which they sent. I informed them I wanted to dispute the amount. I filed a dispute according to their instructions online. I did not hear back, as their policy stated within 3-5 days. I sent a note to them on 11/13/23 asking for a status. They never responded and today, I got a call from a collection agency trying to collect payment. I called UAGC today and they gave me incorrect phone numbers for people in the resolution department and then said they don't actually have phones and there is no way for me to dispute these charges. I have called several times and each time get a different person and a different explanation. I need to be able to dispute these charges and it's not legal for them to refer this to debt collectors without responding to their own dispute process. They were fined by the ********** of ** and State of CA for not offering legitimate services. I do not owe them anything and the fact they don't follow their own resolution policy shows they are a fraudulent organization.Business Response

I went online to find the form that UAGC requires and it's not available. Their link is not working. How can students resolve issues when they don't give you the ability to do so?Business Response

Back in September of ******************************************** *************** from the University of Arizona Global Campus in which I started one class and due to some health issues I had to drop the class within 2 weeks of starting. After withdrawing from the class I withdrew from the school as well seeing that I didnt see my health getting any better soon. After withdrawing from the school there was no communication between the school or myself due to me no longer being a student. After a year or so I started receiving collection calls saying that a past due balance from the University of Arizona Global Campus was forwarded to their office. I advise that I hadnt received anything from the school advising of any past due balances. As of today 02/16/24 I am still being contacted in regards to a balance the school says I owe when I havent received anything in writing about me having a past due balance with the school.Business Response

Arizona Univeristy claims to have a 3-week trial period for students. If they are unhappy they may withdrawal. I had never attended Arizona Global University before and when I was recruited, I was told over and I over again that they offer a 3-week risk-free trial. I tried multiple advisor notifications that I needed to drop out. They also claim that within the first 3 weeks, if you are an undergraduate student, if you don't have a passing grade by the end of the 3rd week of your 1st class, you will be unenrolled risk-free. They told me, after 3 weeks, and almost no response to emails asking to be unenrolled, that I had to pay for my class regardless of their policy because I had attended Ashford University, And while Arizona Global University had discredited Ashford University in court and then consumed their operations, and my federal loans were forgiven because ******* was found to have committed fraudulent action, they assured me that I still have to pay because it's still technically the same University against what my Academic Advisor, at Arizona Global had claimed multiple times in my recruitment phase. This is fraud.Business Response

During June of 2023 my employer announced a partnership with UAGC for a degree with no out of pocket costs. I entered into an agreement with UAGC in which I was promised that there would not be any fees from the begininng of the class all the way through graduation. Fast forward to this week and I received an email from UAGC that the tuition ***** ******* that UAGC offers will now incur technology fees and book fees beginning on April 2nd. This is a breach of the agreement that we entered with the school and it reeks of the fraud Ashford was sued for previously by the US **** of ********** I have been attendning the school since June or July and things have been amazing, but now to continue with my degree I will owe approximately $250 every five weeks (per course). I feel like I have wasted the last almost year for a false promise. At the very least they should grandfather in those of us who were already enrolled. I did contact my advisor who stressed that tuition costs have come down but that does not apply to me since the ***** covers my tuition costs already. Attending the school has gone from zero out of pocket that we were promised to approx $6100 to complete the degree. I have been billed anything yet but starting 4/2 if I want to complete the degree I will owe. This is highly unethical.Business Response

************************* called me from the University of Arizona Global Campus and told me there was a full tuition ***** to obtain my bachelors because of my employer. He had called me and emailed me several times. Each time stating that there would be no cost to me. I was told by him and my employer that I wouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket and it would be covered 100 percent. About a year later I got a letter from CBE collections saying I wowed $1,530. I have disputed it with the school and collection agency. I sent them a copy of the email that said it was a full tuition *****. It is upsetting that these big corporations get away with lying to people and misleading them.Business Response

I began an online professional certificate as a public student in December 2022. I completed it to specifications with precision in June 2023. The program took me well over 120 hours to complete, despite ****'s **** stating it would take **** of 120 hours (UofA's lie #1), and I'm an above average, honor roll, high GPA student, with English as my mother language and 3 2nd languages achieved. The people who graded my submission do not have a good handle on how to use the English language, which means the *** accreditation is inaccurate and UofA's **** **** is fraudulently advertising their TEFL program (UofA's lie #2). They "allowed" me a 2nd chance to "correct" my submission, which I did, again exactly to specs. I destroyed my beautiful and innovative concept to meet their ignorant grading requirements. They graded the entire document, which is not how grading standards work, anytime, anywhere, (UofA's lie #3). The "director" of the **** department alleges he did a cursory review and that I clearly failed so I am kicked out of UofA. They said they offer student support (****'s lie #4), but no one at **** is ever available by phone or email, and they made allegations against me and used bullying tactics when they decided to kick me out. I requested the reasons why I failed (because I know I did not fail as my submission was perfection), and not only did they not provide me with the required-by-law information, they have decided to ramp up the abusive behaviors they give to public students and are giving me "the silent treatment" -- every single one of them in the **** and *********************** All I want it for an honest review of my submission by someone with integrity and for the **** department to be permanently removed from existence so no other innocent consumers receive the abuse and dishonest behavior these people at UofA's **** give to so many of us. I also would like an honest apology from ****** boss for Cote speaking to me demeaningly about my disability.Business Response

I began my last semester in Aug 2022 and was given an award letter that very specifically listed an alumni award. I called multiple times, every one to two weeks and spoke with multiple reps in the finance **** who assured me I would get this award. Two weeks before my very last class in Feb 2023 I spoke to a person who advised me I would not get said alumni ***** due to it was previously awarded. Now the university will not confer my degree or release my diploma due to this error. Had I known, I would have paid so this issue did not arise but since I asked so many times I went with what I was told. I did try to begin making payments even after I finished my program but the system will not take them from me. Now I have earned a bachelors degree and I cant even prove it, or use it due to the inaccuracies from the university.Business Response
