I have been a resident at ******************** for 6 years. Ive always paid my rent on time and have never caused any problems. Im a full time mother with single income to a household of three. My lease ends June 29th and Ive just been hit with refusal to renew my lease and a 60 days notice to vacate without proper documentation of the revisions made to the current resident qualifications. *** asked the housing manager ********* to provide me with proper documentation which she only showed me the qualifications for potential applicants instead of current residents. She then referred me to ***** the regional manager who Ive been in contact with in regards to this problem with no resolution nor documentation as she ended up referring me back to ********* about the changes. She also stated she would get back to me after she did her on research today which sounds like that shouldve been done before the notice to vacate and the refusal to renew my lease last week came about. Im pursuing discrimination because two white women received the notice last week that are considered overqualified according to the new revisions made yet were allowed to renew their lease. I should be allowed to renew my lease for one year just like the others.
