Complaint Customer Service and refunds I was referred to this company by Safeway movers. I originally had 2 vehicle to ship on Aug 31. I contact this company to make arrangements for the shipment of the vehicles and paid a deposit for both vehicles. I decided not to ship any vehicles and sent an email on Aug 10 letting them know I would not be shipping any vehicles. I called on Aug 12 and spoke to a customer service representative who informed me that they received my email and someone would contact me regarding my refund. I have not received any contact form this company and every time I call the person who answers the phone says they can not help me and says they are transferring me to someone that can assist me. When they transfer me it goes straight to voice mail.
Desired Settlement I canceled my appointment with sufficient advanced notice and would like a refund of my deposit.
Business Response A check was mailed by the billing dept more than 2 weeks ago, not sure why the customer didn't receive it yet but will have the billing det cancel the check and will issue a new one. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Was the check sent to the NJ address or the GA address. If you are issuing a new check it will need to be sent to my GA address.
Final Business Response Please email us your mailing address so we would be able to issue a new check Please email to *******@newwaymovingservices.com
Final Consumer Response Was told I would receive a refund once I provided the company my mailing address. I email the company my mailing address on Oct 12. As of 11/2 I have still not received a refund.
Complaint This moving company specifically stated to me that they would deliver our goods on a certain day. In addition they specifically stated that we would not be charged for a 5 day storage. I have two emails from moving company representative stating the aforementioned. Not only did the company fail to deliver on time, but we had to call several times since they did not know where the furniture was. When they dropped off the stuff, they charged us an extra $310 over what we our contract stated for "storage' The driver said that the company knew about this charge but failed to disclose it to us. When I complained to the front office, their representative hung up on me. In addition none of my emails were returned.
This company is not forthright and fails to follow up with their customers.
Desired Settlement I want to be refunded the extra $310 that we were charged.
Business Response With all the respect to this customer he doesn't provide the correct information. There was NO guarantee on any delivery dates, please check the attached contract, the requested delivery dates are 1/1-1/3, consider that it was a holiday weekend, the stuff were delivered on 1/3/2015 as requested. Second, there was NO charge for storage what so ever, the additional charge was for shuttle fee as the drop off location was too narrow for the access of a big tractor trailer. This fee wasn't charged by us but by the moving company. This fee does indicate on the contract that the customer had signed:
" SHUTTLE: This is needed if there is no access what so ever for the truck to pick up or delivery. The price is determined based on the volume of your shipment as well as the rental of a smaller truck to actually shuttle the household goods from one location to another. "
The customer had called over the holiday weekend, the office was closed therefore his calls wasn't answered.
The customer had tried to dispute the charge with his AMEX claiming that the service was not provided after the stuff was already delivered.
If the customer would like to dispute the add'l charge of $310, he should contact the actual moving company Better rate moving (XXX-XXX-XXXX) as we are just the broker.
Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I am disappointed with the company's response. It has continually tried to place the blame on other parties. I have emails from a company representative that contradicts its statements above. I will never do business with them again.
Final Business Response We do apologize that the customer is not happy with our service. We did everything that we could to make this move as smooth as possible. The customer wanted a delivery within holiday time, we did accommodate the requested delivery dates that we had on the order. There was NO guarantees made and the customer was explained that due to the nature of the business and the holiday times there is NO guarantees, The extra charge was for a shuttle that was needed on delivery as there was no access for the big tractor trailer and all that was on the contract he signed. The customer knew from the beginning that we are a broker, the add'l money was paid to the actual carrier and if there is any dispute in regards to this amount it needs to be taken with the carrier that collected the payment. Again we apologize for the inconvenience.
Complaint Failure to deliver services on agreed date, failure to refund $175.00 deposit , will not return or respond to my calls. Dispatcher jenny was rude. I booked my reservation for my car to be transported from ********** to Indiana on 4/08/15. On 4/8 my car was not picked up. I called ***** & she said she will check w/ the dispatcher, *****, told me that they were still looking for a driver & that she still have until the 4/10 to find a driver to deliver my car. April 10 I called back again & I was told there's still no driver, at this point I want to cancel my booking & I just want my deposit back ($175). ***** told me that she have until 4/14/ to get a driver again, I told her she have until the 14th to get my car delivered, ***** called me back on the 14th of April saying she found a driver that can deliver my car but not until Friday the 17th of April. I told her that is too late & I just want my money back. she said it has to be in writing & so I did sent New Way Services a letter about my complaint and requesting for my deposit of $175.00 to be refunded to me. ***** was rude & unapologetic the whole time I was dealing with her. No apologies, were given. I have to rent a car to go to work while dealing with this whole fiasco. There were numerous times that I called & no answer or wouldn't even return my calls,
Desired Settlement I just want my $175.00 deposit refunded to me immediately.
Business Response Our office just recently received the customer's cancellation request via the mail. It will be reviewed in regards to her refund eligibility. However please be advised that the customer was advised within her window that a carrier was available to pick up her vehicle. She does as well state this in her cancellation letter that she was contacted by the dispatcher with an available carrier, and declined the said carrier stating that it was to late now. Please be advised that we had until the 14th of April to assign a carrier to pick up the customer's vehicle, and contacted the customer on the 13th with an available carrier to pick up her vehicle within a day.
Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They have until the 14th to get my car picked up, when they called me they informed me that it will be picked up by Friday (April 17), so yes it is too late by then. They didn't just received my mail recently, I sent a certified mail on May 8, 2015 with expectant delivery on May 11. The way the dispatcher handle this situation was very poor, she doesn't know how to emphatize with the customer. I still ask for my deposit to be refunded to me.
Final Business Response By our contract our job as a broker to to assign a carrier to the customer's order within the agreed dates. Our office had until April 14th to assign a carrier to the customer's order which is what occurred. Furthermore we were unable to process the customer's cancellation completely due to receiving this complaint. The customer cancellation will not be processed further until this complaint is closed. However under normal circumstances the customer's order would be considered non-refundable but we will be willing to review her file once more once the complaint is closed.
Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) We can go back & forth on this case & I know they will stick to their answer that they have until the 14th to comply with my contract. First of all if they make that known before hand verbally this could have been prevented. Yes, it was on the fine print agreement that they sent but customer don't always read those little fine prints because we trust the service provider. This is a lesson learned for me. $175.00 will not make me rich nor happy. I filed the complaint because of the way they treated me & the customer service that New Way had provided that I don't think any customer should go through. They put me on a bind & hardship because I didn't have my car. And calling other company I found out that New Way is the only one that ask for deposit to be paid when you sign the contract, not like the others you only pay when they find a driver for you. Like I said this is a lesson learned for me. The way they do business is a bad business let alone bad customer service.
Complaint Reason for complaint: Failure to respond to and/or acknowledge request for refund of deposit On 2 Feb 2015, New Way Moving Services, Inc. (1400 NE Miami Gardens Drive, Suite 212, Miami, FL XXXXX-XXXX, (XXX) XXX XXXX) contacted the complainant by phone to arrange for the transportation of a vehicle from Connecticut to California in early June 2015. A deposit of $200.00 was paid to New Way Moving Services, Inc. to retain their services. A contract was e-mailed to the complainant and was reviewed on 2 Feb 2015 (Job Number PXXXXXX). After review of the contract, a decision to cancel the aforementioned arrangement was made by the complainant. The contract was not signed by the complainant.
On 3 Feb 2015, New Way Moving Services, Inc. was contacted by phone to cancel the aforementioned reservation and a refund for the deposit amount of $200.00 was requested. Representatives of New Way Moving Services, Inc. requested that an e-mail be sent to their account ****@newwaymovingservices.com) formally requesting cancellation. An e-mail was sent to the address provided on 3 Feb 2015 requesting cancellation of the reservation (copied below, labeled Correspondence A).
On 6 April 2015, New Way Moving Services, Inc. was contacted by phone to inquire as to the progress of the refund. Representatives of New Way Moving Services, Inc. stated that they were unable to provide any information regarding the refund because the individuals responsible for that particular task were not available at that time. Representatives stated they would relay a message regarding the refund to the responsible parties.
On 17 April 2015, New Way Moving Services, Inc., was again contacted by phone to inquire as to the status of the aforementioned refund. Representatives of New Way Moving Services, Inc. transferred the call to a voice mail where a request for refund and contact information was recorded. Additionally, a second e-mail was sent on 17 April 2015 again requesting cancellation of the arrangement and refund of the deposit amount (copied below, labeled Correspondence B).
As of noon on 21 April 2015, the complainant has received no correspondence (via telephone or e-mail) from New Way Moving Services, Inc. regarding the unsigned contract or request for refund.

Desired Settlement Refund of deposit of $200.00
Business Response Our office has never received any emails from the customer in regards to his cancellation. If we had he would have received a reply in regards to such. If he can please forward whatever emails he has sent before to: *******@newwaymovingservices.com Once we receive the email we will contact the customer immediately to discuss with him the refund policy further.
Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) After several e-mail communications with New Way Moving Services Inc., a sub-optimal agreement has been reached with the complainant. Further negotiations and procedures to achieve an optimal solution would be lengthy and of unclear benefit to the complainant. The matter will be deemed closed by the complainant once a refund check is received and cleared.
Complaint N.W.M.S. Failed to procure driver at agreed upon rate during contracted term, then did not issue refund or return my calls or emails. Opened dispute NWMS agreed to broker a driver for the contracted rate of $250. They failed to find a driver during that term, for that rate. This includes the contracted "grace period." After their grace period lapsed, I arranged my own transport. Then they called with a fictitious offer, became rude and belligerent, and told me I'd have to wait for a call from billing about my agreed upon refund. I did not cancel. I did not refuse any offer of any driver at the agreed upon rate. I did not make any other arrangements until after the contract period had lapsed. They would not return my calls or emails. So, I opened a credit dispute with my credit union. I only expect the agreed upon refund.
Desired Settlement Agreed upon contracted refund. $125 - 20% as per the terms of the contract
Business Response As the customer is advised both via his contract and verbally our company is a broker. As such we do not own any of the carriers or trucks. Furthermore it is stated on the customer's contract in the additional notes section that our company would contact him with all offers from available carriers. It was always very difficult to reach the customer in regards to updating him about his order. In any case our company did have two separate available carriers to pick up the customer's vehicle. The customer declined both of these carriers. As a broker our company had provided the customer with the service in which we were hired to provide. The customer never sent any form of cancellation to our company which is required by contract. We have resolved this case with the customer's bank and his file has been closed.
Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Company actually did not "close" the case with my bank. I did a charge back to force them to respond, and they made the same false claims. They are a broker. Correct. Yet, they bid $250 and only contacted me late into their term with offers of $500, which I was under no obligation to accept. They were required to refund my deposit minus the 20% if they failed to procure a driver. I was not "difficult" to reach. They were negligent in their job, unprofessional, rude, and as evidenced by their handling of this claim - unethical. I have received no "closing" of the case from my bank, and until I do, I will not close this dispute. These folks bid $250 to broker procurement of a driver, failed to do so, lied about the way they conducted themselves, lied about their claims about my responses, and then failed to contact me about my refund to the point where I was forced to go to my bank. VERY bad business people
Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The fact that my file has been closed by any other entity does not enter into whether or not the standards of review are valid for B.B.B., a court of law, the court of public opinion or ANY further review. That answer is not an answer, and New Way Moving services has not nor have they EVER provided the simple proof that they have A) Found a single driver at the agreed upon contracted rate. B) Notified me in a verifiable fashion of that fact C) Any verifiable fact that I in any way, shape or form cancelled my contract (I did NOT) and D) that (per the terms of their very own contract, they did fail to return my 80% refund of the deposit.
What WAS closed was my COMPLETE 100% charge-back of their deposit. NOT, the 80% valid refund I'm due.
Final Business Response We have sent a check to the consumer and the issue is resolved.
Complaint Changing more than the Initial Contract I moved my car from Madison, WI to Sandy, UT August 2016. They initially gave me a quote of 650$ and ensured that they will not charge more, they mad me sign a contract for 650$ with non-refundable deposit of 150$. Four days later they call me and ask for 200$ more. The lad over the phone was very very rude. She had the nerve to say that there is no way they are going to ship my car without the extra 200$. She also told that i cannot dispute my charge as they have done this to many people and i have signed a contract and there is no way i am getting out of this.
She basically put it very rudely like if you can pay the extra 200$ she will ship my car otherwise they will not ship it and it can take any where from 1 day to 1 year to 2 years to ship the car. if i dont pay the extra 200$ i will loose my initial non-refundable deposit of 150$ as well.
The customer service rep was very rude, i have not been treated like this my whole life by any customer service representative. I feel violated and cheated. Looks like they have done this to many people and i found this when i read up online after this happened to me.
i dont want any one else to suffer the way i did and that the reason i am complaining against them.
They make sure that you sign the second contract as well or else they said that they will not ship my car.
Desired Settlement I am not sure what to write here but this should not happen to any one else and cause mental discomfort like it did to me.
Can you pls help with this regard and get a settlement of 200$.
They have a trick, they ensure that the rate is not going to go up but once you sign the contract then their true colors come out.
They have to be courteous to their customers which is not happening.
Business Response We really dont understand what is the purpose of this complaint. The service was completed and the car was delivered at the destination. The customer stated himself that he signed the contract TWICE but we believe that unfortunately he didnt read any of the contracts at all. 1. our contract clearly state that we will contact the customer with all offers from carriers, the customer had an option to deny the offer but he chooses to accept the order. 2. the contract stated that the price is subject to fluctuate based on current market rate and that NWMS is just a broker and we DO NOT set up the prices but the carriers does. 3. On one of the contracts the customer signed the disclaimer: I hereby agree and understand that by signing this document, I agree to the available carrier's offer. As such I, the customer. am allowing New Way Moving Services to assign the said carrier to the pick up my vehicle. As such by signing this document I am acknowledging that the contract has been fulfilled and have no further claims, demands, or disputes in regards to this order or to New Way Moving Services. I fully understand and agree to the payment and company's terms and conditions in this document. I hereby understand and agree that this information is complete and correct, and that I am willing to proceed with this service under the conditions stated below. By clicking on the electronic signature link below, I hereby confirm that I have read my Order for Service and agree to all terms and conditions. I further confirm that I have received and read all the information that was sent to me via email.
I understand the service details and confirm that the details of the service and the information I provided in deriving this estimate are true and correct. I understand that any additional services or additional information not mentioned on my Order for Service will result in additional charges. By Signing the contract said confirmation overrides all verbal agreements. I confirm that I am agreeing to the monetary increase offered to me, and agree to have the available carrier pick up my vehicle. Name: ********* ********** Email: **********@gmail.com Signed Date: Wednesday, 08/10/2016 - 11:02:46 EST. IP Address: 18.104.22.168 Internet Browser: Others
Please refer to the following statement from the contract that the customer signed: "As such by signing this document I am acknowledging that the contract has been fulfilled and have no further claims, demands, or disputes in regards to this order or to New Way Moving Services. "
If you dont agree dont sign and if you did signed it means that you are obligated to that and cant complaint after the service is completed.
I attached a copy of both signed contract for review.
Consumer Response Hi BBB Team,
This is what I received from the shipping company. They r still very rude and keep going back to the point that I signed the contract but the only reason that I signed it was because they said over the phone that there was no chance that they will ship my car without paying more than what was promised. They said that they will hold on till they find a driver which they admitted over the phone was not going to happen.
I am totally disappointed with this service and hope this does not happen to anyone else.

Final Business Response Im not sure what the customer is looking for at this pint. We had provided a copy of both signed contract which the customer authorized the transaction, the service is completed and the car was delivered as agreed. Further more the customer had never contacted our office directly with any complaints or issues that happens with his order. We do apologize for any inconvenience and the customer is more then welcome to contact us directly at *******@newwaymovingservices.com. We are wishing him and his family all the best
Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I am trying to get this point clear to the Moving Company that i was not ready to pay 200$ extra to move my car. At the time i signed the first contract they were all nice over the phone and assured that they will not ask me for more money and the final price was 650$.
After i signed the contract they were not ready to ship my car and the person over the phone was very rude and had the nerve to say that they will not ship my car until i pay 200$ extra and they will keep waiting till they find a driver which the person over the phone agreed that could take 1 month or 1 year or Two years.
This looks like a total scam. They make you pay the non refundable deposit and once you have signed the contract they say that they will not ship the car until i pay 200$ more.
i am not the only person affected by this there are many more people who have encountered the same issue with this moving company.
The reason why i am going through BBB is the moving company people are very rude and scream over the phone and are not ethical.
I am writing to get a refund of 200$ cause that was not the agreed amount and they know how to scam people by taking the 150$ deposit so that there is no way and people are stuck to them.
They are also smart saying they will ship the car only if we sign the second contract so they can cover all their needs if problems like this arise.
Complaint Improper use of language by personnel to misguide customers to sign crooked contracts. I needed to move my vehicle from New Jersey to Houston and decide to hire this New Way Moving Services due to the lower cost that they offer me at the moment of the initial purchase. On July 2,2016 I received several calls from ************ telling that the price on the quote has being lowered. She clearly guaranteed me that the price($700) will not go up, no hidden feeds, everything was included and under contract, and it will not change, I just need to give her my credit card so she can start the process. I believe her word and let then charge $175 dollars as a deposit and contractual purpose. I received a contract(job no. PXXXXXX) within an hour by Debra of $700. That was Friday. By Tuesday July 5, I received a call by one of the managers notifying me about a $150 dollars increase for no reason what so ever. At the end, she couldn't explain the increase in price. Due to my lack of time and the $175 non refundable dollars, I told them to go ahead. I was infuriated by this time because it seen that they fallow this procedure with every transaction they do, after reviewing this company on line. Same July 5, I receive another contract with the extra charge($850) in it. Pick up days and deliver days are another story, they simple don't honor your business. Its a shame that we have these type of people doing business and the authorities don't do anything to stop scams like these. Do not do business with NEW WAY MOVING SERVICES.
Desired Settlement Simply, state by your word and be honest to customers, this is America and we don't need to turn like another corrupt country in the word. Have some pride about those dollars that you make, not about the scams that you perform every day to people.
Business Response First of all we would like to take this opportunity to apologize for any inconvenience that occurred during this process. Upon reservation the customer had received a written contract, which indicated very clearly black on white all the terms and the conditions. The customer had initial and signed the contract, which means that he understood, acknowledge and agreed to all these terms and conditions. in addition the customer also signed a second contract, which again explained all terms in simple English. We believe that the customer had signed the contract without reading it. The customer also was notified that due to the July 4th holiday delays may occur and that the price might fluctuate. i attached a copy of both signed contracts for your review and as a proof that there is NO crooked contracts. In this complaint the customer had used very bad and false allegations against NWMS which got into very personal manners, which we believe needs to be reviewed by the BBB.
Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Because New Way Moving Services are doing businesses by writing crooked contract under law and by using false statements/language at the initial of the agreement.
Final Business Response Once again the customer signed two seperate contracts. If the contracts were "crooked" or if the customer did not agree to what he was signing to then he did not need to sign them. It is the customers right to not sign something if he does not agree to it. However we will be to blame because the customer failed to read the contracts that he signed. Our contract is plainly written and easy to read. If the customer had any questions about anything written on the contract he was more than welcome to contact our office to discuss whatever he had a questions about. It is advised on the customer's contract that all available carrier will be offered to the customer. Once again the customer was advised both verbally and via his contract that he was moving during a holiday weekend and that delays may occur due to such. Due to the holiday there was a lack of drivers that were operating during that time and we offered the customer the carrier that was available to pick up his vehicle during the dates he requested. If he did not wish to utilize that carrier he simply had to say no. However, he did agree to the carrier and therefore they were sent out to pick up his vehicle. The service was provided to the customer.
Complaint I paid this company my deposit to have a car transported for my business and they never did. I placed an order Feb.15 with New Way Moving Services to have my 2009 maxima shipped from Canfield, OH to Montpelier, VA. I paid a deposit of $150 using my Bank of America VISA card and the remaining balance was to be paid when the vehicle was delivered. The job number was XXXXXX. I spoke ********** at extension *** who was the so-called manager several times and she never helpful. She even hung up the phone on my several times. My husband and I called the company every single day and no one could give us an update of when the vehicle would be transported. The company provided poor customer service and kept denying to have my deposit refunded and it still has not been refunded to this day. I also asked for the owner contact information and ***** gave me a false name and contact information of the owner.
Desired Settlement I would like the company to refund my $150 deposit PLUS $100 for the inconvenience of dealing with the company's unprofessionalism.
Business Response We had never received the customer's emails as she was using the wrong email - please see attached email log. We had contacted the customer back as soon as we got the BBB complaint and offered them refund but the customer claimed that she would like the BBB advise first before she will do anything further. At this point we have nothing else to inform in regards to that case, as we DID offer refund.
Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I would like a full refund of $150.00 that I paid to New Way Moving Services!
Final Consumer Response I contacted my bank and they don't have any transaction from New Way that is pending for credit to my account.
Complaint Was charged for a service that they never performed. In Nov. of 2015 I attempted to hire New Way to ship my car from Oxford MI to Bayside, CA. They said it would be $175 to begin the service and the rest would be charged once the car was shipped. They then declared that they could not pick up in Oxford nor could they deliver to Bayside, so I continued to contact them to arrange a different pick up and drop off location that would work. Once this was put into action, they never returned my calls and when I called them, they would transfer me over and over again until I got disconnected. Sometimes they would just not answer. After several weeks of no call backs, communication or cooperation, I rented a car. Then after a month of renting and still no cooperation, I bought a car. 10 calls were made in December by me to New Way and still no cooperation. I have documentation of all of these calls. Now, 6 months later, I was charged $175 for their "service". They never once tried to help me after confirming that my car couldn't be picked up in Oxford. They simply told me my car would be picked up the week of Thanksgiving, but the car still sits in the driveway of my old home to this day. The receptionists for this "business" are incredibly rude, immature, and disrespectful. They refuse to listen to what happened, talk over me and then hang up on me. New Way did nothing but take up my time and cost me thousands in car rental fees. They have 91 other complaints on here and it's easy to see why. This company promises delivery with a small fee to get started, and then forfeits all communication only to charge 6 months later for "service" that they never performed. Even after sending in proof that my service was never even attempted they told me that they would still charge me $100 vs $175 for their "service". This is unacceptable. I want all fees dropped and am happy to provide what ever proof I can to make sure that New Way never tries to take advantage of another customer like this again.
Desired Settlement I want all fees dropped. They never performed any service of any kind nor did I aver sign anything..
Business Response The customer did signed a contract - please see attached, per contract there is a 20% cancellation fee applied to all orders. In addition the customer had filled a dispute with her credit card company, which cause an add'l fees for us ($20), the dispute was closed in our favor. On 4/18/2016.the customer had contacted our office in regards to this matter and was advised that she is entitle for $100 refund. We had emailed her a form to sign so we will process her refund but she refused to sign the form. I attached a copy of the signed contract, the customer stated that she didnt signed anything but she did sign a contract, where she agreed to all terms and condition.
Complaint I paid this company $175 to have a classic car shipped from New Mexico to California. They took my money and disappeared, services not completed. The saleswoman (****) told me that the vehicle would be picked up by Saturday, March 19th. Today is March 31st, the vehicle is still sitting in New Mexico. Services not delivered. Additionally, I have left 5 or 6 voicemails with this company...none have been returned. Basically I was scammed. They took my $175 and disappeared. Please help
Desired Settlement I want my money back! Full refund of $175. Services not completed. This company did nothing but take my money!
Business Response Mr. ******** hired our company to transport his vehicle. We do understand that he want his order to be cancelled and his money back. We had tried to contact him few times with no luck we got his voice mails and emails but every time that we had tried to contact him we got his voice mail. We have everything documented in emails. Please have the customer contact our billing dept directly at *******@newwaymovingservices.com or XXX-XXX-XXXX ext ***

Your complaint will be forwarded to the company within two business days. The company will be asked to respond within 14 days, and if a response is not received, a second request will be made. You will be notified of the company's response when we receive it (or notified that we received no response). Complaints are usually closed within 30 business days.
BBB began including text of consumer complaints and business responses in BBB Business Reviews on July 1, 2013 for complaints filed on that date and thereafter. This includes all complaints that meet our reporting guidelines and that are filed electronically. We also report on the resolution of the complaint, as determined by BBB.
BBB promotes truth in advertising by contacting advertisers whose claims conflict with the BBB Code of Advertising. These claims come to our attention from our internal review of advertising, consumer complaints and competitor challenges. BBB asks advertisers to prove their claims, change ads to make offers more clear to consumers, and remove misleading or deceptive statements.
Some Better Business Bureaus offer additional content and services in BBB Business Reviews. The additional content and services are typically regional in nature or, in some cases, a new product or service that is being tested prior to a more general release. Not all enhanced content and services are available at all Better Business Bureaus.

BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating is not a guarantee of a business' reliability or performance, and BBB recommends that consumers consider a business' BBB Rating and Customer Review Rating in addition to all other available information about the business. If the BBB Rating is NR then only Customer Reviews are used for the Star Rating.
We offer free reviews on businesses that include background, licensing, consumer experience and other information such as governmental actions that is known to BBB. These reviews are provided for businesses that are BBB accredited and also for businesses that are not BBB accredited.
