            We had a mostly pleasant experience with Aspenn until we tried to cancel our service after 16 months of using them. At the point we tried to cancel, we were informed that we were apparently under a contract with them, even though we were not informed of or consented to the contract. The company could not provide proof that we agreed to be under contract, but insisted on charging us around $350 to cancel. When I politely challenged this and declined to have my property serviced the next business day, until they could prove I was legally under a contract with them, I was told I was being unfair and unreasonable. After ********************************************************************* the person on the phone snapped at me that they would cancel the contract without fees because they didnt want someone like me as a customer. In MD, where I live, a service contract must be written. This company invents illegal contracts with unknown conditions, without specified terms, and without consent.
