    When i had my first class and tour of pure barre, i was amazed at how elegant the studio looked. I proceeded to do a free class on Saturday. I was also one of the only dark skinned girls in there with naturally kinky hair. I tried to ignore it and continue to keep up with the fast passed work out regimen. after class, i stayed behind and spoke with an older woman who had done marathon running. I was so happy to have made a potential friend. afterwards, i walked around and took photos and three less than thirty second videos. Then I had a concerning phone call about being a "liability for the business" i proceeded to delete the memories i took. then I went to work and recieved a call from Law Enforcement officers. The next day, I recieved a ban from the manager/owner herself, Catalina ****** through a 46 second phone call at 5pm. She has said i displayed "weird behaviour" and "compromised her business." businesses are allowed to invite who they want in to their establishment. i dont understand why i was analyzed out of all the skinny majority white women who enter the building. it is strange why i out of all people, the "colored girl" was banned for taking pictures. i do think this studio has an issue with racial bias and racial discrimination. there is a reason why the majority of the advertising is white smiling faces. i hope she stops making others feel unwelcome. i hope any one who cares about equality for all WOMEN do not go here. i assume this is not what PURE BARRE represents, but i dont know. My reputation at my workplace has been ruined due to telling Catalina ****** where i work and information that should have been left private. She used it against me and made me look like a criminal, as white women have historically done. it is sad that she is Chilean, because I hoped that latin-americans understand discrimination enough to do better. I feel bad for all the instructors that teach at such a non-inclusive, and anti-diversity establishment.

    As I have told Miss ****** ****** I am refusing to reply to her because her unwanted emails and her unwanted and continued contact with me is borderline harassment at this point. I have repeatedly asked her to stop contacting me and I am at the point where I have to ignore her because it is becoming a legal issue. I do not wish to reply to her directly, just in case this turns into a legal issue and I may have to get a restraining order. I have been advised by my team and corporate not to respond to her. I am sending you this response, please let me know if this is something that I should reply with publicly or directly to you; I do not wish to further this entanglement with her, but her targeting us like this is just scary and unfair - I have been legally advised not to respond to ****** ***** at this point. Here is my response to what she has to say: *** ****** ***** was asked not to return to ensure the safety and security of children in the building’s child care room. She demonstrated a near-obsessive interest in the child care room, despite having no children of her own, and repeatedly asked different staff members for tours of the child care room while asserting that she had never previously seen it. The final straw was when she was found by herself in the child care room taking pictures of the security cameras and exits. She did this without consent. Her behavior was so disturbing that we elected to involve the Pensacola Police department to ensure our child care facility was not being targeted as part of a human trafficking operation. No report was made and no legal action was taken - our look into her public legal records do not negatively impact her in any way. The decision to ban her from our facility was not taken lightly, I even consulted with corporate to guide me in this matter before making a decision, but was ultimately the only decision that could be made to keep the children safe.
