I have been trying to cancel my membership in person as well as over the phone at the *********, ********* ** location since end of March 2023. I have made numerous attempts IN PERSON to cancel and was told all is well and my membership would be cancelled less the $175 early termination fee. My bank is now blocking all attempts at payment because even though Ive cancelled they are STILL trying to charge me and NOW Im getting a bill in the mail that I owe even more money! I deserve a FULL refund of ALL payments taken from my account from April 2023 THROUGH current month 2024. Unless action is taken to rectify this I will be filing a small claims lawsuit requesting refund in full plus damages. Do the right thing Cal fit and give me my money youve stolen from me. Also, I believe the manager of bond road in shape fitness should receive at the very LEAST, some form of reprimand for his negligence causing this problem in the first place. A change in ownership is no excuse to steal peoples hard earned money. This almost cost me my housing as well as made me get multiple overdraft fees on my bank account! Fix it!
