DO NOT PURCHASE this c*** sold at rooms to go. Bought a reclining love seat from Rooms To Go, was sold on this extended warranty since it had a motorized recliner which I know are pricey to replace. As predicted, BOTH broke in a matter of 1 year. Got the first side replaced within about 3 months of originally placing a warranty ticket. Within month the second side broke. FIRST they ordered the wrong part which took about 2 months to replace, which they forgot to reorder in the first place. After receiving the part called Rooms To Go it schedule a tech to come and replace it. 1st call got canceled "tech is sick", 2nd call got canceled "tech is sick" 3rd call tech was out on a scheduled route, completed a few calls and apparently "got sick again". Called RTG they told me sorry we don't have another tech for your area, I live in ***** so they have 1 TECH FOR THE WHOLE CITY of 6.4 million people. Was done with RTG called Fortegra to ask for an alternative, was told "sorry there is nothing we can do you have to deal with rooms to go directly". It has been 5 months since I placed a warranty call and my loveseat is still broken with no solution in site.4 Warranty Corporation Response

****************,
Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention.
Our records indicate you contacted Fortegra on February 22,2023, to initiate your claim with our office. On March 8, 2023, approval was sent over to Rooms to Go to get your recliner repaired.
We see that you called again on November 17, 2023, to report another claim and on the same day our representative sent the work order authorization to Rooms to Go for the inspection of the damage. Subsequently on November 29, 2023, that repair was also authorized by our company. We did not get any additional calls from you until March 15, 2024.We sincerely apologize that your experience with your claim was less than desirable. We will share your experience with Rooms To Go in hopes of improving future customer experiences.
Sincerely,
Fortegra

Absolute GARBAGE. I purchased a sectional from rooms to go and was sold the warranty that covers everything, even accidental WHAT A FREAKING JOKE! I have some tears in my lounge that when I made the claim I supplied pictures. I can only get certain pictures without it damaging my couch more. All they focused on was the pulling in the picture. *** told them multiple times my claim isnt for the pilling. I could care less about that, I just want my couch repaired under the warranty terms THAT I PURCHASED. Instead they ask how they happened I said Im not sure whether it was my dogs, my husband or who knows but theyre there. And all I get is we dont cover pilling or fraying check your warranty c*** ************ is a complete scam. ********************* or your time.Review from Carl E E

In Mid December 2022, I cancelled a paid in full Home Warranty Service agreement, because of dissatisfaction of service. The Contract number was with an expiration date of 2/13/2024. The agreement covered property address Easy Street in ***********, *****. The service representative informed me that a refund would be returned to me in 6-8 weeks. The first week of February 2023, I contacted a representative (******) on at requesting the status of my refund. He claimed the finance department informed him my request was being handled as a priority request and would be received in 6-8 week. I demanded to speak to a supervisor and ****** refused by telling me no supervisor was available. I request that a supervisor returned my call. To date that has not happened. I called ****** again on March 3, 2023 at 9:00 am CST., requesting the status of my refund and informed him that we were on a recorded line. He informed me that all refunds would be made in 6-8 weeks. I told him that was unacceptable and again demanded to speak to a supervisor. Again he refused telling me no supervisors was available and he was doing all that could be done. I ask him if he was refusing to pass me along to a supervisor, he refused to answer, but refuse to satisfy me by getting a supervisor on the line. Behavior such as this is not a positive reflection on any service company. Everyone has a supervisor and his failure to positively represent this company is prime example of why I cancelled my affiliation with 4 Warranty Corporation. I am requesting a full refund immediately and action should be taken to properly train customer service representatives in how to interact with customers, to prevent toxic interactions.Review from Christina D

They provide zero service and scam Rooms to Go customers with useless warranties. There is zero point in buying the warranty with them since they don't offer anything. I bought a couch in 2021 and it is already damaged just from everyday handling and rearranging furniture. They are offering nothing to replace it despite it being within the contract period and it was damaged for legitimate reasons.Review from Patrick D.

I had a vehicle warranty through Fortegra when I bought my truck from a Chevrolet dealer. It was part of the package of buying their vehicle. Fortegra clearly forged my contract. When I sent a claim in, they told me that it was required to change the oil every 7,500 miles. They sent me a copy of my contract with my info and date of signatures, but no actual signatures on the document, reflecting 7,500 miles in the write up. I sent them my actual contract with wet signatures saying 10,000 miles. They responded that “it does look like you have a different contract than what is in the system”. They didn’t accept my claim for a different valid reason, but the fact that they tried to screw me over by clearly forging my contract is unacceptable. Do not do business with this company!Review from Victorya

THIS COMPANY IS A ZERO!ALSO DOING BUSINESS AS FORTEGRA. SCAMED MY 87 year old Mother in law into buying a useless home warranty. Mislead her, telling her they had repair technician to call upon in her area only to find out she had to pay everything up front including an $18,200 Air conditioner which they declined to reimburse her for. THIS COMPANY IS CRIMINAL. Shes on social security and may never get her money back. I have filed a complaint with the ************************ and sent it to TV stations.Review from Samuel M

After requesting a home warranty policy from this company (AKA: Home Assure, Home Wizard, Road Wizard), my research wasn't able to turn up reasonable business details and I became concerned. I requested to have my policy canceled within the 30 days and I spoke with 3 different representatives on 3 separate occasions and they were rude, difficult, and refused to cancel the home warranty service. I finally contacted an attorney and he suggested I write a certified letter which I did and have cc'd all addresses and names associated with the above companies. This was a nightmare experience and I don't recommend their services.Review from Daniel G

Don't even deserve a single star. They will ask for pictures of entire sofa/furniture item and use gimmicks to dismiss your claim. We had a single large stain on the SIDE of the sofa where soup spilled on the end table and ran down the side. There is no other stain or **** on that area. The asked for pictures of the sofa then dismissed our claim because of "accumulation" (the cushions showed signs of use, how dare we use the sofa we paid for). We have been trying for 2 years to get someone out, during the pandemic we were told that our contract would be extended because no inspectors were allowed into homes. That was a lie that they now are denying.Review from Ralph V

I purchased a 3-year warranty from this company for a sectional I bought from Badcock Home Furniture in ***********, ******* in 2018, and I had a couple of burn marks on a couple of seat cushions and a stain from coloring pencils. I filed a claim to the 4 Warranty Service I purchased. The inspector came on February 16, 2022, inspected and said that the company would probably order cushion covers because burn marks cannot be repaired, and clean the stain. That was reasonable to me. By April, had not heard anything from the company so I texted the inspector about my claim and he said that I had to contact the company because "unfortunately they had no access to that information". I called Badcock Furniture since they sold me the warranty and told them that It had been a couple of months since my claim and had heard nothing and that I only had one payment left on my account to pay-off the furniture and wanted this resolved. Apparently, they must have contacted the 4 Warranty Corporation because I received a text on Thursday April 14 to "Please contact 4 Warranty Service for the resolution and parts status." I called the number and the representative that answered the phone said that the inspection report for my claim on February 16, had been "DENIED" on Febrary 18, two days later. REASON : "EXCESSIVE USE"! I was never notified of this decision. EXCESSIVE USE??? Were we only supposed to sit on our sectional on certain days so that we wouldn't use them EXCESSIVELY? DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS WARRANTY SERVICE because "IT STINKS" ! I agree with others : IT IS A SCAM ! This company should not be allowed to stay in business as they are ROBBING the customers selling WARRANTIES they DO NOT HONOR !Review from Angela L.

Purchased from Rooms To Go; 3 year warranty in Nov. 2021; specifically because it would cover accidental stains to the fabric. Unfortunately, I have an ink stain; possibly because of one of my grandchildren- but I cant confirm that... I didn't see if happen. I phoned to report the incident and was told that it was not covered because I couldn't provide an explanation of how it occurred! That since "one of the children DREW on the couch" it would not be covered! I did NOT tell them that a child DREW on the couch; I KNOW it was not on purpose but the fact is that the ink stained the couch, it was a ACCIDENT. the Clause under Accidental Damage from Handling- : a)Accidental stains to the fabric, vinyl or leather furniture (except nubuck, suede, and buffed leather) and umbrellas as a result of normal spills from food and beverages, pet biological stains, ball point pen ink, and nail polish. The representative insisted that since I didn't know how it actually happened it wasn't an accident. Accident means... happened by chance, unintentionally or unexpectedly. There is not clause stating I have to prove an accident. I am Extremely Dissatisfied; I feel DECIEVED into purchasing a Warranty product from Rooms to Go and this company is not standing behind their product and service.
