[7/26/2024]: I placed an order for a living room sofa set through a phone order The *** told that the order would be shipped mid-August and I should have it delivered in the 1st week of Sept. [Every 2 weeks], I promptly get an update email, with exact verbiage saying ************ Your order has progressed.....4 to 5 weeks from today being the estimated delivery...." It seems to be a cruel joke. [8/19/2024]" My credit card was charged in full for 5600+$.[9/9/2024]: I called the *** over phone to enquire about the status. He apologizes for the delay and tells the new shipping date is 9/16 and I should received it 2-3 weeks from then as they have no control on the local delivery. I asked to speak to a manager for an exact date and he says someone would call me in a day. No one called.[9/10/2024]: I called the customer service again. This time the *** told that 2 of the 3 pieces in the sofa set are out of stock with the manufacturer with no estimated date. I got so frustrated with the response. I asked to speak to the manager. ******* answered and she tells me that they were back ordered and their system tells the new shipping date is 9/21/24 and 2-4 weeks since then. I am so frustrated with all this experience. (1) Why did they charge me in full before delivery or atleast before order shipped to local delivery? (2) Zero communication or real updates to the customer. I had to call twice and hear different stories from the ***s and *******. (3) ************ (if legit) had no handle on the delivery dates. They should mention that in their website.I could have given them zero or negative stars if that option was available here instead of 1-star.Coleman Furniture Response

A piece of the sectional arrived damaged. A piece of the fabric is torn & was sewn up with black thread. I noticed it immediately & took photos. No replacement was offered.Review from Kelly M

I was nervous with some of the negative reviews but took a chance. I'm very happy with my purchase. I placed the order for a sectional, not only did it come weeks earlier but delivery was on time and the guys set everything up and took all the mess with them. I love my sectional it's exactly how it is described on the site. I would definitely buy from coleman again!Review from Joyce B

This company is absolutely not reputable. First, they asked for a copy of my ID card when I tried to purchase online, which felt intrusive to me and excessive to confirm a purchase. Then, once I'd successfully ordered the furniture, I fairly quickly received a shipping confirmation with about a 2-week delivery timeframe. Having heard nothing after 2 weeks, I reached out to Coleman and was informed that they were not able to track it for me and would attempt to reach out to the manufacturer (?). I then stated that I would like to cancel the order and was informed of a restocking fee, which I accepted. The individual told me that he would do so and send a confirmation of cancellation in ***** hours. After 48 hours with no further communication, I reached out again in hopes of a resolution but got a different answer - the second ****** I spoke to told me that they were "calculating" the restock fee, which I'd already been specifically informed of, and that it could take 2-7 business days to receive a cancellation. 30 seconds later, he corrected himself and said 3-7 business days - indicating a lack of any policy or standards for cancellations. A manager finally emailed me and offered a paltry $50 discount on my $2700 furniture set if I didn't cancel - indicating that my original cancellation request had never been honored. When I insisted on cancelling, I finally received a cancellation receipt within a few hours. Overall, the lackluster customer service, lack of communication, and refusal to accept my cancellation - and a not-insubstantial restocking fee - has left a bad taste in my mouth and I cannot recommend buying from Coleman.Coleman Furniture Response
