Description

 eCAST Settlement Corporation (“eCAST”) is a Delaware corporation, with its office located in New York City.  eCAST is a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase & Co., a publicly traded Delaware company. eCAST was incorporated on June 8, 2000 for the purpose of conducting certain limited business activities.  eCAST purchases from various creditors, principally financial institutions but conceivably some retailers on a one time and a continual basis those consumer credit accounts where the debtor has filed for protection and adjustment of debts under the Bankruptcy Code.  The vast majority of accounts that eCAST currently purchases are accounts for which the borrower is in bankruptcy.
