I have lived at Candlelight Square since Oct. 2022. That winter, my heater kept turning off but I braved the cold. In 2023, I didn’t have a heater( still dont) that worked for more than a couple hours at a time. Ive called the office multiple and they said they would fix it. It still is not fixed since it last shut down in December. There is also a hole in the restroom ceiling that started about 6 months ago & leaks every-time the upstair neighbor uses their restroom. Ive asked to have this fixed and they still have not. My room smells so humid because of the hole and it looks like there is black mold where the hole is which I informed them about and they still have not came to fix it. Ive been staying at a friends due to these issues yet paying them rent every month for an apartment I cant use. I asked to move out in January and they accepted under the condition I stay 60 days as a policy. I agreed under the condition that they fix my heater and the leak. Since they have not fixed it, I requested to move out sooner than 60 days and have not heard back from the office in days. I would like them to allow me to leave and not charge me rent for the remaining days as they did not uphold their end of the deal.
