I paid my Target card balance over a week ago. The balance had gone $7 over the limit, due to interest charges. I paid the whole card off, and expected to see the credit available (we use the card for groceries.) On Tuesday, I sent a secure message through the portal, asking why my credit is still not available. They told me to call their customer service and they can process the funds. I called yesterday, and was told that because my balance was $7 over the limit, they are holding the credit for verification purposes. I began asking more questions, because I was very confused by this. The employee, who did not speak clear English, just kept repeating themselves. I continued to ask questions, in a calm manner, because I wanted to understand why. The employee hung up on me. I immediately wrote another message through the portal, and the response was: "We are sorry you are disappointed with the phone you had with customer service." WHAT IN THE ***** That's not even an apology. It's still been over a week, and I cannot access the funds.Target, you are really a c*** hole.
