      In November 2021 I notified my *** via email that there was a roof leak in my townhouse. There was a water leak stain in my hallway. For months I complained to them and demanded repair.In 2022 I was told verbally after ongoing complaints that it was fixed. I never recieved a copy of the invoice, and email or any other proof. Just this verbal statement which was not reassuring considering how long I had emailed and called complaining.Within 2022 it rained again and the water damaged ceiling spot got worse. I complained and emailed again and was verbally told it was fixed. We'll the same happened in ******************************************** 2024 after the rains February 6 and 7.I have photos of the progression from 2022 to present. And now the surface is no longer intact. So I don't know if it's the paint, the drywall or both, but something is opening up.I emailed the *** AGAIN and I contacted my homeowners insurance, who then also contacted my ***. Interestingly they told my insurance that they are responsible for the roof leak damage and the interior ceiling damages. The insurance person requested they also put that in writing and send to me. He didn't so I emailed him and asked. To which he confirmed it to be true. He went on to say they will get someone to fix the roof first, then have someone fix the ceiling after the roof is repaired. Insurance denied my claim because they said it is an ongoing problem that has evolved and not a new problem. There is black looking mold growing there. And likely has been over the last 2 years and 3 months. The work still has not begun on the repairs.In addition my neighbors (People of Color, many not confident with English) have told me they have requested repairs on the stairs leading to their door and other "common area repairs" that have gone ignored and unaddressed. We all pay our dues every month and our property is being damaged and delapidating because of HPK property management. Please help.
