    We rented from Crepe Myrtle apartments managed by******** Management for 1 year. We moved out June first, and still haven't received our complete deposit back. They charged us for 1) inspecting the apartment 2) Toilet Seat 3) Light Bulbs 4) Cleaning Fee (we paid a professional. cleaner and have photos of apartment to prove this) All of this amounted to close to ******* We have called and emailed them in response to get our deposit check and they have stonewalled us. When looking at several reviews on their Google profile I see that they have done this exact same thing to multiple tenants. I want my deposit check, in full, back or I will be forced to take stronger legal measures.

    Devious thieves. They have a history of stealing hundreds and even thousands of dollars from their tenants on the security deposit, as you can see from any online reviews. Bogus charges include a 100% illegal "Apartment Preliminary Inspection Fee", charges for things that were 100% functioning when the tenants left (including light bulbs and toilet seats replacement), illegal charges for alleged damages done by registered support animals, charges for things caused by normal wear and tear, charges for things they would have done regardless of the condition the apartment was left in (including painting), and charges for arbitrary upgrades to the apartment that are not the previous tenants' responsibility. They only have one customer service representative, *******, whose strategy is to ignore you for as long as possible in the hopes that you will give up and allow them to steal from you. Company refuses to send any pictures of alleged damages, even after several written requests, as they know that all charges are fraudulent. ******* Management shows a repeated history of disrespecting their tenants, stealing from their tenants, and refusing to hear their tenants' concerns. They are the definition of scam artists and you should avoid them at all costs.
