    I recently reached out to STS vacation regarding a travel credit that I had with them. I have in writing the full amount of the travel credit from an employee that worked there at the time. I tried booking using that travel credit and they refused to honor it saying they did not have documentation of the trip. The agent who sent me the email is no longer employed there and when I forwarded the email I have from STS they refused to honor it. The email is clearly written with the amount, the date and the reason for the credit and is proof from STS that the travel credit is valid. The travel credit exists because of an insurance policy I took from a previous trip. After a Covid exposure, I claimed the travel insurance and it was honored and I received a credit for $1,243.05. The email stated everything very clearly and I followed their directions exactly yet they refuse to honor my travel credit that they agreed to in the past.

    Long story short, STS could care less about its customers once you’ve given them the money. I purchased the 3 day “VIP” pass and was not delivered on the promises they gave me. To put it into context, the VIP pass allowed me to choose 3 events to go to during the week of my choosing. I was saving my last pass for an event on the last day of the trip, and this event ended up being canceled the day of. Instead of doing the right thing and giving a refund to me for not being able to use my third pass, they put the blame ON ME and told me that I got what I paid for since “I had the opportunity to go to 3 events already.” It was as if they expected me to see into the future and know this event would be canceled. I tried voicing my concerns to them about this and they basically brushed me off and told me to take it up with accounting. Charlie and the rest of this company made what could’ve been a really fun trip an incredibly frustrating experience. If you’re considering booking a trip with this company, I’d highly advice against it as there is little to no chance you will end up receiving what you paid for. The only thing this company does is take advantage of the lack of influence and experience college students have with booking trips.
