    I was locked out of my apartment after 9pm Saturday 10/15/22. My 80 year old mother was visiting me. I started calling locksmiths and Able was the first on the list. I gave the person who answered the details (turned out to be the owner) and he said it would be at least 45 minutes before they could get there. I said, "That sounds good. I will call you back immediately if I find someone who can get here sooner." The owner responded "That is not how this works" and HE HUNG UP ON ME! I called several other locksmiths and no one could get to me before morning. It was 17 minutes later that I called Able back and opened with "Please don't hang up on me! I really need your help!" The owner then insisted that it was unacceptable that I was going to "call around" and he flat out refused to help me. I explained that my mother was flying home early in the morning and all of her stuff (including medicine) was in my apartment and I really needed to get in TONIGHT. Once it was entirely clear to me that this person- who is supposedly in a business to assist people in a stressful situation- was refusing out of spite, I did absolutely swear my head off at him and told him that a horrible review would be forthcoming. There were NO hotel rooms in the area available that night (we called at least a dozen) so my mom and I ended up sleeping in the car. When I posted a very brief Google and Yelp review the next day, the response was even more infuriating than the initial incident! The response stated that they explained "in depth" the procedures for engaging them. (That's not how this works. [HANG UP]) is NOT in depth) and implied that they refused service because I used abusive language and threatened them. To be clear- they did NOT refuse service because I swore. I swore because they refused to help when they easily could. My threat was to write a negative review. The response also said that if I cared about my mother, I should have gotten a hotel room. CUSTOMER SERVICE? NOT!
