            I have COPD and we purchased this concentrator so I can have some mobility outside of the home. This purchase was made on 5/27/23 From the very beginning it was not reading the battery life on screen. So, they did replace the unit, but it was used, and it doesn't work hardly at all. we then contacted American Express, and they tried to help and said we may contact BBB or take it too small claims court. this company has witted out the warranty and we have the original to prove it. they claimed only 6 weeks. They have lied about so much they are pathetic. They even provide me with a fake doctor prescription too get this. They also claim to call us, and that's not true. I'm homebound until I get a new machine. Time is passing me, and I don't think this company should be in business. All we want is a new factory packed machine and they told me "That's not going to happen" I really don't want anything to do with them anymore, I prefer a cash refund like we give to them. We are going to buy a new machine in a week. Please help. I'm 71 and don't know how to upload documents. I can fax or mail to you, thanks. *****

            As a client of over 10 years they have made lots of $$$$ on me, and that is their #1 goal. In January I was in ******,***** with a new Inogen small concentrator that would not charge the 4 batteries I needed for air travel to return to ********. I phoned them several times asking for help, and finally a desperate email asking for information on Inogen offices in *****, specifically ******. They never answered this email. I was in ****** with an award wining book for the American Embassy, and they were interested in helping me, and hearing about my trip home. Hopefully my experience will be shared with others to avoid my dangerous situation. Fortunately a friend found an Inogen technical service not far from ******, and took my concentrator to them who said the problem was with the electrical supply cord and sold me one for 50 Euros. Why did the American ********************************************* not take the time to send me the address of this ******* technical service? Because they would not make any money on whatever I purchased. Returning to *******, I looked at the cost of Inogen batteries for my concentrator, on Amazon, and to my surprise they are $250. I purchased an extra battery before leaving for Europe from American ********************************************* and their price was $597, although they did offer $550......$300 more than the retail on Amazon. Certainly businesses deserve to make a profit, but this is outrageous and it definitely needs to be regulated or more people will be taken advantage of in an oxygen sales situation that often is life threatening. THIS IS NOT AN A+ BUSINESS! This is not a business that deserves a 1 star for selling medical oxygen that can save a life, but does not offer serious help after the sale. Anyone reading this who plans to travel in Europe this summer, be very careful who you purchase your oxygen equipment from. Inogen is an excellent choice.....a purchase from AMS is a bad choice you will regret UNFORTUNATELY THIS INDUSTRY DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE REGULATED. ******************
