In the past 36-months, I have spent over $10,000 repairing poorly installed sewer lines at my home in the Country Club of the North. Five months after moving in our home filled with sewer back-up and this month the same thing happened again. Knowing that the problem was not user-based, *********** sent a camera into our yard line and saw that the sewer pipe had pulled apart. The PVC line had not been glued, simply stuck together by the cheapest subcontractor, and after digging, the real plumbing professionals at *********** noted that NO GRAVEL base was ever laid down to prevent the soil from settling and pulling apart. Furthermore, the repair team noted that a required coupling was never installed on the line, so at the drop-bend in the line, this also aided in the total line joint failure and dirt clogging the line for the second time. The builder claims since the line passed an inspection he is in the clear. However, my insurance company (Allstate) told me I should file a liability claim with the builder's insurance provider since builders must carry liability insurance for cases just like mine. Crosstowne has repeatedly refused to provide me with their insurance company contact for an independent review. Please note: Crosstowne Property has been banned from ever building another home at the Country Club of the North for failing to pay realtors and failing to comply with building agreements and tenants of the CCN. I have decided not to talk the builder to small claims court due to the small about involved in this matter, so I request you support a veteran and customer from being a victim of fraud with this small-time company.
