    We started renting from them in September 2022.Our first night there our floors in the hallway were soaking wet from some mysterious water.The first week of us living there,we started seeing bugs,a couple black widow spiders.I called the office and left two different voicemails about this, never got a call back.Then our shower started dripping nonstop.in October they did an inspection and was supposed to come back to fix it, they never did.Then that happened one more time, and we just stopped asking.In December our toilet over flowed,while we were at work,it was after office hours so I called maintenance man and he said it would have to wait to the next day,which was fine.we realized a few weeks before it our bathroom floor was covered in water and we could never figure out where it came from,we started putting two and two together. what we thought was mold growing in our windows,they said it was just mildew,which is a health risk.There was mold growing in our shower and toilet,they said was normal but I am sorry I have never had mold in my bathrooms before. We also know from other people in the apartment they as well have mold.The apartment manager also said she had mold in her bathroom in the same complex, which again should not be normal.the end of May we decided we did not want to live in filth anymore,so we called the main office and they gave us the supervisors email so I emailed her sayinng we wanted out of our lease. According to the Manager all she did was send it to her and say "call this girl". I was then pretty much told it was all a lie and I had not be calling. We were then told we would be sued if we broke lease,we agreed to continue paying rent there until someone else moved in.while we were out of town the apartment flooded once we found it the next day we called and they acted like it was no big deal the all of a sudden they let us out of our lease. we were,then told we would not get our deposit back. we also never got our refund for part of June.

    I live in an apartment complex, owned by Hubbard Properties in Montgomery, Al . I have been charged for INSURANCE, on the property when I have renter Insurance a dropped theirs over a year ago. Instead of contacting me to see it was still in force, (An the paper work says the insurance is in effect as long as I pay it.) I have provided them with proof that my insurance was indeed in affect for the month of April 2020. The management still wants to charge me for the insurance they have on the properties. Management does not want to accept that this fact.

    At Hubbard Properties we strive to satisfy each customer with our excellent customer service. We do require each resident to maintain a liability insurance policy through a carrier of their choice. A resident can also participate in a group program advertised through the company with a fee of $** per month. If a resident chooses their own policy with a carrier of their choice, it is the responsibility of that resident to provide the company with continued proof of coverage. In absence of proof of coverage, the resident is automatically enrolled in the group program upon the expiration of the coverage. Once proof of insurance has been provided, the $** fee is no longer due the following month. Any fees accrued during the lapse of insurance are due and cannot be removed per Hubbard Properties policy. The aforementioned policy holder's insurance expired on 03/04/2022 and the new policy was not provided until 04/12/2022. The fee of $** for that time frame is due since coverage was provided through the group program.
