In August 2019 I was rear ended. My car was taken to Murray's Garage through insurance. There were a number of parts to my car that needed replaced and repaired. Murray's had my car for 30 days. They "replaced" a rear axle, quarter panel, and wheel bearing. And actually DID replace one of my side mirrors, a tire, and a hubcap. I started having problems with my tires wearing down every few months and it took a little over a year to discover there was a problem with my rear axle. Fast forward to March 2021. I take my car to get looked at and am told my rear axle needs replaced. I contact insurance and am told I NEED to take my car back to Murray's (and I do 3 different times). Who tells me over the phone "we don't do rear axles" which I think is kind of ODD seeing as that they were the shop responsible for fixing it in the first place... Fast forward to July 2021 after months of calling Murray's and my insurance for a quote to fix my rear axle I am ignored by both parties in getting my car problems resolved. So I take matters into my own hands and go to a different shop where I am told by the owner that in August on 2019 insurance was charged for 3 brand new parts.. rear axle, wheel bearing, and quarter panel. And upon further investigation it is discovered that ALL parts were the original pieces of my car and were NEVER fixed. I had my car back after 3 days with the NEW mechanic... it took Murray's 30 days to fix 1 side mirror, 1 hubcap, 1 tire, and to BEND my quarter panel back into place. I wouldn't recommend this shady shop to anyone!!!

Mrs. ********'s car was brought in 8/27/2019 for body shop repairs. We replaced several parts, but a rear axle and wheel bearings were not among them. We did replace a quarter panel and other parts as per the estimate. We sent the car for an alignment and it aligned. We were not aware of any axle issues. As for her calling and someone telling her that we do not do rear axles, that is simply not true. However, we do not offer an alignment service - so this may be where the miscommunication stemmed from. We sub-contract out all alignments. We have a timestamped copy of the estimate that is available upon request
