    I requested Window Medics to replace the panes of one of my windows. The window was ordered on August 8th, 2023 after paying the 50% deposit on $536, but I didn't hear back from them until February. 2024. The day of the installation, they realized they did not have the window in their warehouse. I tried to cancel the order and get a refund, but they have left my messages unanswered.

    May 13th ****** on the phone from Window medics quoted me for the window replacement at 470$ i was instructed to pay 50% before, and was told it would *********** weeks, although i reminded him multiple times this was a rented home my landlord was not too happy about the broken window but nevertheless i told the landlord i paid for it to be fixed and he patiently waited with me. Its been 6 weeks and not a singe confirmation, no reply back, shady girl answers the home page phone and hangs up in your face pretending to not here you, also they do not reply to text or calls, they wont refund you they wont even tell you anything, then when i did some digging i realized they are a scamming company, they do 1-2 jobs to keep them looking active but mostly its a scam for any new customer. I spent 200$ and now im on the verge of getting kicked out my house, all i did was try to fix the window and now it looks like i did nothing

    I have contacted Windows medic Ottawa 2 April 24 to have 2 windows defogged. They came 9 April and did the work ion half ie installed only one valve, at the bottom instead the usual 2 valves. It didnt work so after a few exchanges, I decided to replace the two glasses. By then, I had already paid $282.50. He came back 22 April and took the measurements and asked for 50% deposit which I paid $424. Despite asking for invoices, I was never able to get any. Was supposed to take 4-6 weeks. Today, nothing yet and barely do I get responses to my texts. I asked for refund and was told they were going to check with supplier. Asked for update and no response. On 7 June, I was asked what my schedule was the Following week making me believe they had the glasses. But this week, still no answers. It appears they are running away with the money and are just gaining time. So I have paid $700 and cannot get the windows or my money back. I feel I have been robbed. There are so many companies that do this type of repair and are well rated that I feel bad I didnt look here prior to calling them.

    I placed an order with this business to replace a broken window. I was contacted by ****** and given the name of the technician ***** on invoice and after paying the deposit of 280$ (50%) was told 6 to 8 weeks to delivery. At 6 weeks I sought to contact the business to find out the status of my work order, and was unable to contact them directly. There number routs to an answering service and the technician's number does not answer calls, only allows messages. I went online to see reviews and see that there are repeated instances of exactly this behavior from them, with orders taking much longer than stated (which is already longer than average) (up to 20 weeks) which is frankly unacceptable. They are clearly scam operators hoping people give up on the work after they delay and delay. They should not be permitted to operate.

    The business has contacted me and made sure the work was completed. The earlier lack of communication was not the fault of the local workers, who went above and beyond to resolve my issue. My complaint is resolved, and the records should reflect that.

    I contacted the company to repair a garage door window my son had broken with a hockey puck. They were fast to come out and provide an estimate. They advised if we paid the 50% deposit the window could be repaired in 2-3 weeks. It has been 6 weeks and I am not getting an answer on when I can expect the window replacement.

    Contacted Window Medics Ottawa on November 07, 2023, for a glass replacement of a window and paid 50% or $500 upfront on November 09, 2023[e-Transfer at *********************. I was told that the service would be delivered within 4-6 weeks, and I was ok with that. But they didn't replace my window glass until March 12, 2024 (in more than 16 weeks). I sent emails to the company and messages to the guy mentioned in my INVOICE [************ - ***** *******] and every time I was given dates and dates and dates; but NO SERVICE & NO REFUND! Finally, I gave up on them because of their lies and now reaching out to *** for help to get my refund and prevent other Canadians from falling into their trap.

    I contacted Window Medics for replacement of a glass pane in aa basement window. They came the next and measured the window. I was provided with the invoice (#****) for $384.20 and was required to pay 50% ($192.10) by e transfer which I did the same day. Delivery of the window was anticipated for Feb 02, 2024. Each time I call the company for an update at ************ I get a service to leave a message. Never get a call back. The window installer ***** on the invoice has a number ************. The number is never answered and despite leaving a message I get no return call. I see now on the internet numerous clients with the same complaints. These people are clearly frauds and need to be shut down and prosecuted. Either finish the job or refund the money.

    Paid 50 per cent for a window replacement in August 2023, was told job would ***********-8 weeks, it is now January **** and havent received any contact from nor has the service been completed from the company, want my deposit back as service was not delivered.

    In Nov 2022 I had Ottawa window medics "defog" 7 windows in my home. I was told by the tech ***** that the results would take approximately 4-6 weeks to see improvement. I never saw any improvement in fact they all got worse. I communicated this to them and they told me to wait longer. In March 2023 I contacted ***** again telling him my windows i have had no improvement and never received a response. In July 2023 I asked for a second treatment and was told they wouldn't do this for me. I sent them photos of my windows showing no improvement, again they said no they wouldn't treat my windows again. Their "warranty" process is to provide quote on replacing windows. In Sep 2023 I received a completely inflated cost estimate of window thermal replacement which was 2.5-3 times higher than other estimates I received. I advised ***** i was not satisfied with this resolution for a "warranty " and requested a refund for the original invoice i paid in Nov 22.

    I sent a request to have someone to look at repairing a pane of glass on my front window on August 30, 2023. ****** from Window Medics came to my house the next day which was August 31. He gave me a quote for $500.00 (plux tax) to replace the broken double pain living room window. I paid a 50% deposit that same day (Invoice# ****) and then I head nothing for ten days (Note that I did receive a second invoice on August 31 stating that I needed to pay the balance by October ******************************************************** to set up a repair date.)On September 9 I messaged ****** letting him know that no one had reached out to me. I asked about an ETA on the repair and was provided a phone number for ***** stating that he was the tech and I should reach out to him if I have questions. I messaged ***** that same day and got no reply. I then messaged ***** on September 11 and again on the 12th. He replied on the 12th saying that he had messaged me (he didn't) and that the glass would take 4-6 weeks to arrive. He said he would do a "final inspection next week" and that he would stay in touch. He hasn't. I've had to badger him and between then and now I've received a couple of messages; one with a date promised and this has been missed with no communication. He's now gone radio silent; last message from him was Oct 27.I can't even begin to describe the level of frustration I'm feeling at this point. I've emailed the company and received no reply. They just don't reply and leave you in the dark.I want Window Medics to return my deposit so I can find another company to repair my window in a timely, professional manner.
