Kevin the owner was extremely rude would not allow natural disaster exemption. I didn’t want refund only a rain check for future use.

Very disappointed in this resort and management. My husband made a reservation online and 20mins after finding out about the mudslides surrounding the resort and the lengthy detours that were needed to keep this reservation, he called to talk to someone to cancel his reservation. This reservation was only made for 20mins. No one was in the office at the time of the call so he left a message. The resort called my husband back around 1000 the following morning. During that call, my husband requested a full refund as their website doesn't mention anything about the mudslides that are occurring in that area nor does it disclose the need to take a large detour to even access the resort. We have a 30ft RV with 4 young kids. This is not ideal in the least. With the call, my husband spoke with Kevin who was not amendable to a refund regarding the circumstances, but did say he could change the date to the end of September. We cannot do the end of September as we are from out of state (MN) and have no plans to return at that time. I called and spoke to a "supervisor" who wouldn't even give me her name nor would she give me a number of a manager to talk to regarding this. She shared with me that if the reservation "goes past that day" then the no refund policy is upheld. I told her we called 20minutes after making that reservation to cancel it, but no one was in the office to answer at that time. After expressing my disappoint in that we did try to cancel that very night (20mins after), but with no one being available, it wasn't possible for us to do anything more than to leave a message. I asked her again for a managers number so I could call and talk to someone about this in more detail and asked her again for her name so I knew who I was talking with and she literally hung up on me. We are very disappointed in this resort and hope no one has to lose money nor has to experience poor customer service like we did. Not worth it.
