Gary did a fantastic job in remodeling our condo. His attention to detail and master woodworking skills truly transformed our condo forward several decades! He listened to what our vision was and gave insights and companies to go find the right colors, floor coverings, blinds, wood stains, lighting, etc. The remodel included painting the whole condo, making it fresh and open, all new woodwork and doors, flooring, lighting and added a loft barn door and a new loft window covering to provide privacy. All of this he did with precise and meticulous craftmanship. He was able to make our condo a place we will truly enjoy, relax in and invite our friends and family to spend incredible time in.

We had water damage throughout our home. Luckily, Gary was available to do very professional repairs in a short period of time. He is a true craftsman that was able to replicate cabinets and custom wood columns. The plaster and painting work was thorough and all signs of damage vanished. He coordinated carpet replacement and crew did a through cleanup. We would use hime for any future remodel/ repair work because he is also an honest contractor that enjoys a challenge.Associated Building and Remodeling, Inc. Response

Gary has done several projects for us over the years. When we needed to have our garage redone because of water damage, Gary was the first person we called. Luckily, AB&R had an opening for us and was able to do the work over the holiday season. I thought we'd have to wait months given how busy all the trades are nowadays. The work is now done and the garage looks better than ever. Everything is perfect. Gary and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Gary's honest, dependable and knows what he's doing. Gary, The basement remodel you did for us is just… perfect! The design and quality of workmanship is top notch and we love how well the space works for our extra guests…such a cozy inviting space. You will always be able to turn to interior decorating if the building work ever slows down. You really have the eye. One of the wonderful pieces of this project was the fact that it was completed entirely while we were out of the country. It was so nice to have someone we could trust with changing our unfinished basement into a part of our home… and blending it so naturally with the rest of the house. Can’t thank you enough! Gary W*** has been our general contractor for remolding our condo for 2 years and is starting our 3rd round of improvements in the spring after ski season. He is absolutely trust worthy, stands by his word, has excellent communication skills and is a perfectionist. He notices every little detail and makes sure the workmanship is done right. Gary did an excellent job with building me a custom stone fireplace. This was no easy project. He gave me the full rundown about adding such a structure and how the flooring might need to be reinforced. It has been ten years and the fireplace still looks like he built it yesterday. It is absolutely gorgeous and his design and creativity is timeless because I still get compliments and I don't think it will ever look out of style. Gary may be the most organized contractor I have ever met...you should see his shop! Most importantly he is honest and good hearted.Associated Building and Remodeling, Inc. Response

I would not recommend Gary for any work. We were nearly 100% over budget on a simple bathroom project without a single conversation we were running over budget beforehand. There were so many problems due to poor craftsmanship that we as the client had to point out each visit to our condo. Scheduling was a nightmare and couldnt follow simple instructions of availability. I couldnt be less happy about working with Gary. AVOIDAssociated Building and Remodeling, Inc. Response

“There were so many problems due to poor craftsmanship that we as the client had to point out each visit to our condo” Please tell us when this occurred as it was I that pointed out the poor craftsmanship of the original framers to you. I have photos. “Scheduling was a nightmare and couldn’t follow simple instructions of availability” Because you and your guests stayed in the condo we had to break down (mobilize & de-mobilize, dust containment, content manipulation, clean up) and set up 4 different times, including the first time. “I couldn’t be less happy about working with Gary” Your texts tell a different story. You thanked me, told me it was beautiful and that both you and your wife were very happy. We have all of your texts, photos and e-mails.
