I have been in contact with The Motorway since mid December 2023. I found the shop and interviewed not only the owner Victor but also the shop manager Hank about lowering my car. They said they would be happy to do it as it is in their ability. I worked with Hank on buying the right lowering kit. I purchased said kit from Extensive Motors for $2900. Once the kit came in I delivered my truck and the parts for the mechanic Hayden to start working on it. Commencement of the project started on the 23rd of January with pictures from Hank to my phone showing they started. On the 31st of January I was texted to check out the progress. At this time I was told Hayden went to the doctors for metal in his eye and that he had put in 50 hours of work and that they charge $125 per hour. This is the only time the first time any type of conversation about the cost had been discussed. There have been zero quotes, invoices, list of completed tasks by the mechanic, etc. I wrote them a check for $2500 to continue going with the verbal agreement that total hours of work would not surpass 100 hours. On the 15th of February I was asked to come in a look at the progress again and make a payment. Victor the owner told me that we were around 140 hours. We looked at the progress and quality of work and I was very displeased. Bad welds, car un drivable as muffle was taken off and alignments weren't set. I asked Victor to let me know how much longer they had to go and the only response was a lot of hours left. After I left the shop on the 15th, I left Hank a voicemail the following day the 16th at 9am stating I need my car to be returned to me in a working fashion that I no longer entrusted them to do the work as it was maybe to large of a project. Since then there has been zero response from the motorway, still no invoices, no lists of work comopleted or by whom, no quotes, etc. I feel I have been mislead and my car is unsalvageable now.
