I hired this moving company to move my 2 bedroom apartment from one building to a new apartment building once mile away. The move was going well until one of the movers broke the buildings elevator. This building has 3 elevators, the one they were using to move was in good working order at the beginning of the move in. The movers were instructed to use the buttons on the elevator control panel and the *** to get from floor to floor. They were informed not to prop the door open with boxes or obsticals as it would make the elevator not work, this is a safety function for the new building. About 1-2 hours into move in the elevator was broken due to the door being propped open. Now the movers had to walk to the other end of the building to use the working elevator since the one closest to me had been broke by the moving team. There are two parts that are a problem here. 1- the movers took about 3-4 hours more in time since they had to walk the distance for the broken elevator. There for adding 4 hours of 5 movers and 2 trucks to my ****, 4 hours at $365 is $1460 that I feel like I was over charged. Part 2 is the repairs for the broken elevator are over $2,000. I can get the elevator report from the repair company showing what caused the damage to the elevator. I have called ******* the schedule person 3 times and left messages, I have called the main office and left a message and I have called the ************ at ************ his cell phone and I have gotten no response. This is a very poor way to run a business, not only by breaking brand new elevators, but also over charging a customer/me for the bad behavior of the employees. I would like the company to call me, refund me the over charges and pay for the elevator repairs. I hope this can help the get resolved sooner than later.

NO. NO. NO. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this company. My experience: Besides arriving way late (on my dime), No mature adult was sent on this job, only 3 teenagers. They were vulgar and unprofessional. Swearing and joking around the whole time. All of this, I was fine to let go of. What I was NOT going to let slide was the fact that they plastic wrapped my brand new 3k couch in their rodent urine contaminated moving pads, and then left these moving pads on my couch. When it was time for me to move into my new home, I hired a DIFFERENT moving company because I was unhappy with my experience with this company. When my (new) couch was unwrapped, it had taken on the same odor as the moving pads - rodent urine. I called the owner, Nick, and calmly let him know the situation and asked that he help with the upholstery cleaning invoice. The owner handled my situation so poorly, rudely insisting that his company is considered "off the hook" as soon as they drive away from the job. All I was asking for was $200 towards my cleaning bill and Nick failed to take any responsibility, as well as treated me with complete disrespect. The owner, Nick, really needs to assess the way he does business and how he treats customers. Any business owner who treats a Woman the way he treated me needs a *wake up call*. If you after reading this, you still choose to hire this company, just know that you are supporting the TOXIC Masculine. Nick NEEDS THERAPY. Add the word, Low to the front of their name and you'll have a better idea of this company. LOW Quality Moving & Storage.

      Quality Moving & Storage Response

      04/20/2023

This review is full of lies and hatred and personal attacks. It also states that I need therapy. Fortunately I don't but there are many close to me that receive therapy and it is not something we toss around in anger. The customer (******) also sent me (*********************) text messages threatening me. (see later in my response)We moved this customer into HER mini ********************** last year. Everything went well, as always, there was no vulgar language and the guys did a nice job. They are young me mostly, not "Children" as she stated in her nasty phone call to me recently. The goods went into her storage, with our pads on them. She was there to see things go into storage and if there was any issues (with the condition or odor of the pads) she should have said something (she admitted to this recently). Note: WE DO NOT HAVE MOVING PADS WITH MOUSE URINE ON THEM. Secondly, we do not typically let our pads leave our hand as and go into a customer's ********************** locker or rental truck. We most always retrieve them at the end of each move. They are ours...we do not give them away. Once the load goes in to her storage unit, the load is her responsibility. The condition of the unit, the elements, the condition of the surroundings, and the condition of the household gods are all her responsibility. Not ours, not the mini storage, just hers. Months go by and she calls and blames us for making her sofa smell like mouse urine by us putting our pads on her sofa. She says the pads were soaked in urine when we put them on her stuff last fall. THATS FALSE! So that set off a long back an forth conversation with her continually telling me what I was going to do. After much controlled battle, in which I was calm, not macho, not toxic, not rude, never stating "off the hook", ...I simply listened and offered my thoughts and a suggestion. I suggested she let me see my smelly urine soaked pads. She said she gave them to her new mover. Now why would he want them, i thought? Another hmm? moment. This customer was simply looking to find someone to pay for the sofa she ruined by putting it into a mini storage where mice love to visit in the winter and they love upholstered items. This is proven by the threat she then makes to me on the phone saying she will go on every review site if I don't do as she says. "Refund me for my move or clean my sofa or I will put bad reviews all over the internet" I say I want to see the pads, she says I will get them. That was the end of the call. A few days later she texted me "If you need to come smell my couch as a part of your investigation let's schedule that than once I get the blanket we can meet again and you can put two and two together" I respond" I will mail a $200 check. Not as an admission of guilt or responsibility for the apparent sofa damage but as a gesture of kindness. I'll send t off soon" Thanks! ***** She replies" you might send it as a "gesture of kindness" but I will be assuming it as the small amount of responsibility you're mustering yourself to take. Check was mailed March 28th, 2023. April 6th she sends a text "****, I haven't received the check. It's been 10 days this is taking way too long to resolve. I will be setting an alarm for myself to make sure I remember to post my review on all possible sites by Thursday if I do not receive and clear your check by then" ANOTHER THREAT TO POST BAD REVIEWS IF I DON'T COMPLY. I reply "Alarm?!?!?, Please stop with the threats. It does not work nor do they matter. I sent the check a long time ago. 29th. keep an eye out for it...if you don't see it by next week, I'll send a new one. I will also check my bank. Probably has the wrong address on it?!"she replies" It should have arrived by now So please resend. I am sick of dealing with this" then another text "Actually Never Mind I would rather warn people about your character supporting than having anything from you Keep your measly $200" signed with a peace (fingers) sign. In minutes she posted on YELP (they took it down), then BBB. Please remove this review...it is false, contains anger, personal jabs, and lies. We did nothing wrong. All we did was perform another efficient and professional move. That is why she happily paid us on moving day and never said a word about the age of the guys the character of the guys, foul language or the mice urine infested moving blankets. If the sofa got mouse urine on it...it happened while in storage. Period. ********************* Owner Quality Moving and Storage *** 715 377 7777NO NO NO
