Did not honor our contract after giving Scott 60% down. Signed contract in April 2021. We still do not have our fence as of September 2021. And are now demanding a refund. Poor communication. Unacceptable business behavior!!

The people at Ideal Fencing were really great, professional and competitive in pricing. The work was completed on time and with no issues.

We hired/signed a contract with Ideal Fence of Madison LTD back in April 2021, not because they were the best price (because they weren't) but because they guaranteed a 6-8 week install time- (putting us at/around the week of 6-7-21.) As our date approached we called to make sure they were still on schedule and we were told yes they were still on schedule. Well our install week came and went with no communication from ***** or his company. We sent/left several emails and voicemails since then with no response, until I sent an email stating that based on reviews I've seen, maybe we made a mistake by choosing this company- We finally got an email back from ***** on 6-10-21 stating ***** was out ill but he would pass our message along to him and ask him to give us a call, as he (*****) was unable to answer our questions. On 6-14-21 at 3pm we finally got an email from *****, apologizing for the late reply, but was hoping to get out to our house that week. Well that week also came and went with no other communication from ***** or his company. We can understand delays, however the lack of communication and response from them is unacceptable, especially with Ideal fence having/holding our 60% downpayment deposit. We've filled a complaint with the better business bureau and I am starting to write reviews to warn others. Again, I understand contractors are busy, however, when you take and cash a 60% downpayment, then ghost us when our install date comes and goes it doesn't seem like a good way to run a business and could hurt your business down the line. Hopefully our install will happen soon, but if I had to do it again, I would have chosen a different company- As reading through reviews, I see we are not the only ones Ideal fence/***** has done this to. Consumers beware- It seems this company doesn't feel the need to reply or return their customers emails or voicemails after they take and cash their 60% downpayment. "
