I talked to 3 different people in billing for *** ****** and they all told me that the daily calls that I have been receiving for the last 3 months from Americollect are a scam. I have already established two payment plans with *** ****** and I should not be hearing from any collection agencies. If they mess with my credit rating I will sue them!!!Americollect, Inc. Response

Very nasty and unfair.. Ive been making steady monthly payments without missing a payment and they still report me to the credit bureau and destroyed my credit score by dropping 70 points.. they are not negotiable and the representative are bunch of liars.. they stated as long you make monthly payments I should be fine..Americollect, Inc. Horrible customer service for the time we are living in, when families are struggling. Like when is your tax return coming? So you can pay off this debt with that. You need to pay the balance in full today. You have to have to have it paid off in 10 months, even though you are making payments, or the medical bill hits your credit report. We made a monthly payment in March for $85 and are minimum was $82 and change. On March 31st they are calling about a not making a payment yet for the month.Review from Ike K

These people represent all that is wrong with collections agencies. They lure into false sense of trust by claiming to be ridiculously nice, which they’re NOT. I have reached out to them to settle a medical account with Georgia Emergency Associates. They responded with forms asking for my personal details and requesting me to give them reason why they should accept payment in lieu of deletion. That is ridiculous in itself, considering I am offering the full amount in lieu of deletion. What they want to achieve by requesting my details is to then have me commit to owning the account, so they will establish leverage to put me under pressure. If someone requests to pay in lieu of deletion why don’t you just go ahead and accept payment? I just don’t understand these people. They always act like there is something personal. It’s a disgrace that something like this is allowed to go on in America.

Americollect reports paid medical debts to credit bureaus and the credit bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian) have recently updated their own internal policies regarding paid medical accounts being removed from consumer's credit histories. Americollect cannot guarantee, warrant, or take responsibility for the performance of Equifax, TransUnion, or Experian with respect to changing, deleting, suppressing, or making entries regarding credit information.Review from anthony c

rep lori from americollect call in this morning, didnt verify my information and advice me of my debt, no mini miranda once i told she didnt verify my information, and requested a supervisor she got upset at me..... then once the super got on did the same thing - i requested information from there company sd must put it writing then said call attorney general office -

While I understand keeping track of payments is my responsibility this company does not send out an itemized list of the payments they have received. I have been reading all of their reviews and I can’t believe the BBB has given them such a high mark.
