            BBB unable to locate business
            Dars Clock Shop has had the movement for my grandfather clock for over 2 years for repair. I have called him at least 10 times and he keeps telling me it will be ready. I also went to the shop and talked with his wife and asked for the movement.I am 93 years old and just want it back. Perhaps I can have it fixed elsewhere.

            I took my fathers clock to Dars clock service 5/5/2023 for cleaning. *********** it will take about 2 months, which was fine. After many attempts to reach him by phone (his voicemail box was full) he finally answered only to say it will be done next week. This happened at least 4 times in the past 6 months. I went to his house three times. Once to find the clock, (he took me into his basement where there were hundreds of clocks in three different rooms pieces of clocks all over the place. I couldnt believe it) and once to pick it up fixed or not (he brought it to me in pieces with many missing) and finally today I went there with the same story!! I gave him til next week to have it put together or I will go to the authorities. Do not take your clock to Dars! He is very old, unorganized and forget/looses clocks.
