Worst fist time experience with ones specific OBGYN at this location. (***** *******) Definitely an experience where discrimination was a challenge for her to cover. Not only throughout the appointment but after not reaching out about abnormal testing done that needed immediate care. This was a Monday. Long story short because Im not a big review person, Thursday comes around I then contacted Aurora to let them know what happened and seeing my results on my chart. They stated that they were going to note it Top priority Or whatever and the doctor will get back to me in regards to my results within 24 hours. After going to another clinic this day, getting tested and treated with same results (Thank God) Friday evening comes around when all businesses are closed probably about 7 PM and then get a courtesy phone call from ********* stating I have two prescriptions that that doctor from Aurora finally sent over. Obviously atp I didnt need the medication anymore as I said I ended up going to another clinic but Im sure you get the principle here. Key word. (Discrimination) Keep that in mind.Review from Jeffery W

I had a surgery 3/5/24. upon arriving to the new Sheboygan Aurora hospital and checking in and shown to my room, I already had a bill sitting for the surgery on my live well app for approximately $600. I paid using my phone at that time in my room waiting to go to surgery. I had the surgery and after I woke up and was moved to recovery and waiting to leave my live well app notified my I had another $380 or so dollars, so I paid that a few days later. I was paid up in full. I had a follow appt and then like a week later another Live well app notified me of a bill for like somewhere around another $300 dollars or so. I was confused my deductible for the year was met from the surgery and that was not looking correct so I called Aurora to ask them to explain to me, and they found that I had over paid by like $118 dollars and they would change my bill to reflect this and my new total should be approximately $176 dollars( and a notation was going to be put in the computer). I logged on when I got paid like 2 weeks later and paid $100, as the corrected total was not reflected yet, knowing I would have then maybe $76.00 or so left. I finally received a bill in the mail on 4/29/24 for the final amount due of $76 and some change. I got a call today from Auroras billing dept. at like 10am while at work, the lady started out with "this phone call is being recorded, is this (my name) and can you verify you Date of birth and your address"? I told her I can but why are you calling me? She then proceeded to tell me that my "account is past due and that to avoid collections that I needed to pay in full today". needless to say I was pretty ticked off so I let her know the whole situation and the fact that the bills are hard to follow and that I think it is improper to call me in this instance , at work no less, considering I have paid them over $1100 in the last 60 days and was WAITING FOR A TOTAL BECAUSE THEY SCREWED UP AND DIDNT SUBTRACT MY OVERPAYMENT!Review from Dawn F

One particular nurse on Triage needs compassion training. Who wouldn't be upset if you are told one thing at 9 am on a Saturday and then after 3 more calls because you got no call backs, you are told something completely different. Very disappointed in Aurora ****** ******!Review from Kristin S

I took my 1 year old son to the walk in on the weekend because I figured he had an ear infection. Which upon having his ears checked it was confirmed. I received a bill for $255.36. I paid this bill. A few weeks later I received another bill for the same date of service. After calling and asking why I was being billed another $86, I was told it is for use of the facility. I can't even imagine what I will be charged with next After I pay this bill. A 10 minute appointment where my son's ears were checked resulted in billing my insurance $485 ($255 being my responsibility) and then another $175 ($86 being my responsibility). How are people supposed to be able to afford going to the doctor?Review from Jeff B

If you think that an Aurora Hospital Psychiatrist would be highly concerned for the mental health of a welfare receiver, you'd be sorely mistaken. A Psychiatrist by the name of, ************************ decided to take me off my ********** without discussing it with me. I told her I was almost out. Without missing a beat she decided to put me on another depression drug called, ************. A drug I had NO symptoms for other then one word...depression. The 1st night wasn't bad. By the 3rd night this drug had caused this extreme fear, restlessness, hopelessness and a feeling like I was about to have a heart attack. I had complained that it was causing me side effects of epic proportions. So the Psychiatrist genius solution was to have me take this nightmare drug during the day with an anxiety pill. I was thinking, great, more artificial chemicals to put in my body. But I tried and sure enough the rollercoaster ride of fear, loathing and a cardiac arrest came on like a ocean wave knocking me under. Keep in mind that a Psychiatrist is not bound by the hypocritic oath. No matter how many times I asked, this psychiatrist did not want me to try anything else. Being on welfare I shouldn't have been so stunned at how I was being treated, but I was pretty stunned anyway. So having to ration what ********** pills I have left and being forced to wait until January 17 to talk to this insane Psychiatrist and her rude staff pretty much seems in humane to me. The staff severely needs sensitivity training. The condescension, rudeness and disrespect was deafening. Her superiors were just as bad. I hope and pray that I can get away from Wisconsin before the Aurora health chain **** ** **** like they did my wife..Review from Tim B

I brought my mother into your facility the weekend of New Year's Eve. She passed away this morning and I would like to thank all of the wonderful staff in the emergency room and on the second floor they did everything they could to make my mother's comfortable as possible and the rest of my family. All the nurses and doctors were very compassionate and did everything they could for my entire family and from the bottom of my heart I would like thank you.Review from Dwayne H

I would give this Zero stars but I'm unable too. I have insurance, have proof and certification of the insurance but refuse to bill insurance. That's fine I totally understand their policies. However, I don't agree with them requiring a $200 upfront payment because I am considered "self file". I drove 45 minutes to an appointment to be refused care unless I paid the $200. ******************** can't support this clinic anymore.Review from Jennifer D

This facility is a 'hospital' but they do not tell you that. I saw a doctor in a clinic, which is the type of appointment that I had booked. I at no time received any hospital services, no tests, no labs, no gown, no stay, no procedure, nothing but a conversation. I didn't even have a physical exam done! I was put in an ordinary clinic room for my appointment. Imagine the shock when I got TWO bills for this appointment. One was for seeing the doctor in the hospital (which never happened) and one for seeing the doctor in the clinic (which did happen). When I called them and asked what is going on I was told well he is a doctor that also works in a hospital but since you saw him in clinic we charged you for both. WHAT?!?!? They then added insult to injury and said I should've checked with my insurance first. So, how was I supposed to know about this little scam before my bill arrived? To which they said well too bad, it's your bill. I have never in my life heard to anything like this. I have seen plenty of doctors that have hospital privileges in a clinic and did not pay 2 different bills. This is nothing more than a scam and I hope that people see this and think twice about not only using this facility but also Aurora Healthcare. They are clearly losing business and have found a (illegal?) loophole to get more money. Thankfully I have choices in healthcare here and no longer use them.Review from cynthia t

Any attempt to get to a nurse or someone that left you a message is nothing short of a miracle if you get through at all. The disconnect between primary doctors and potential surgeons or specialist is a time warp at best. Equally the disconnect between what the primary agrees is necessary for a minor surgery vs. what the surgeon asks for vs what the anesthesiologist is similarly disjointed resulting in a patient having to repeat tests at their expense due to lack of follow up. Curious if this is a result of the recent acquisitions or what, but apparently this is what we are stuck with. First things first: Fix your receptionist so that there is not a 10 minute wait, you have to give her so much information just to get to the primary physicians nurse who called in the first place.
