      Another time I wish I could leave a 0 star review. It's appalling that a company with such a history of quality can be so poorly run as it is in America. Their free shipping with orders over $xx is the stuff of 1975... 3-9 days ground. I ordered something on **** a few weeks back from ***** and it arrived in 2 days for free shipping. They can't get something halfway across the US in 9 days? Package was "lost" and missed my son's birthday. I called on day 7 when it hadn't moved in 3 days in hopes they could send me a replacement package with free upgraded shipping, nope I had to wait for the full 9 to find out what I already knew. Fuming I called them and asked them to cancel and refund my order they informed me they could but it may be up to a week for the refund, whatever no biggy. Then about 5 days after it was supposed to be there my order shows up. Sadly I had already gone to the store and bought another one by that time so my kid's birthday wasn't ruined. Then today I get an email (had not gotten the refund yet of course) telling me to call them. I call them and they are like "oh I see your package has arrived are you good", NO I am not. I want a refund. They say they can refund me but I have to send the package back they can email me a label. I told them I was not driving that package anywhere, the box was all damaged and I live nowhere close to a drop-off for *** or ****** I ask for them to send a truck to pick it up and they say they can't.After snail speed, poor shipping choices, making me drive 1+ hours to buy what I ordered, and holding my money for over 2 weeks they expect me to drive another hour out of my way to return their busted-up package? Mind you, this was a ~$50 order, not $100s. I will NEVER buy another Nintendo product and will review them poorly as often as I can for the rest of my days. I am selling my Switch at the first chance and buying a PS5 and not looking back. Enjoy my $50 Nintendo you earned it.

      I will never support nintendo again. i sent my child's switch to them for repair paid for the repair and the items "came up missing". they want to give me a refurbished game and i sent them a 2 month old game. true enough they refunded me for the cost of repairs but that was only after i made a big deal because i sent them a new game and they wanted to send me a refirbushed one. on top of that my childs case was in the package which i have to now replace because they claim they can not. im sure they have insurance on every package they send out. they will not do any gift cards or anything to compensate for the case. it's been a month and i still do not have my replacement game and their workers love to hang up in people's faces. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE SUPERVISORS AS WELL. I will no longer support.

      Nintendo Switch 2 needs to have Nvidia Industrial Metaverse Technology ***************************************************************************************************** ************************************************** will replace the need for Virtual Reality Headsets especially out of respect for ******************************* and Type Moon ****************** and itll be a whole lot better than all the scammy stuff like ***************** Computer Brain Chip

      I place an order for some amiibos for my daughter and they cancelled my order for no reason. I spoke to supervisor ***** who raised her voice and would not place a complaint for me or transfer me to her supervisor. ******************* up the phone .

      My account was hacked and someone purchased games on my account that trigger and scam warning from my back. This happened close to 3 years ago and Nintendo has ban my account and I haven't had access to any of the games or the switch in which I paid for. Contacted customer service several time and they are unable to help me or reactivate my account. They confirmed that the stolen games where purchased in another country to another console and still my account remains ban. At this point I want a refund of the console and all games purchased. However it seem that they don't care about their customers looking at there reviews.

      Email Address Update: I called Nintendo support a year ago to try to get my email address updated because I don't have access to the Yahoo account like pretty much anyone who had a Yahoo email address. In order to update an email address, you have to verify the request using the email address on file (wow). On with support, they verified so many data points on my account it was outrageous (full name, email address, serial number on the bottom of my switch, DOB, two most recent purchases on my Nintendo account), and somehow after all of that, I still "couldn't be fully verified". They tell me they have to send my request somewhere to be processed and they would follow up. Flash forward to today, I still don't have access to manage my Nintendo account, so I try to call again. I speak with a nice woman who took me through all the same steps listed above, once she processed my request and I failed verification again, and she sends it to the "back office" to follow up with me, I request to speak with a manager. I speak with someone relatively nice who also can't help me so he escalates me further to his manager. This man was rude from the start, tells me that I need to go through the process and there is nothing further he can do. I could almost adopt a child from ******* with less validation than it takes to update my email address with Nintendo. I requested to speak with an escalations team or to be escalated further so I don't have to take this to the BBB or social media, the manager I was speaking with told me the call had become unproductive and he hung up on me. I have so many games purchased and played on this account and I'm completely unable to manage it with literally no one willing to help with the most simple account update.

      I called Nintendo regarding a shipment for a wrong address they told me that it was all ready shipped out and I have to call usps so I did they told me that I have to have the tracking number witch i did not have and it Cleary shoed on my Nintendo account that it was still processing so i called like 3 different times back and forth and still noting so a few days latter I Finley got the tracking number but it wasn't usps it was FedEx so I called FedEx to get the address change well i cant the shipper has to call FedEx so i called Nintendo back they told me that i have to wait for it to be delivered or they will they to intersect even though she did acknowledge that she ahs to call FedEx and change the Adrees it and say I never got it so i told them what FedEx told me so they transfer me to a supervisor she so i told her everything and she said that there was no previous call record from when i called last time and than she ask for the right address so i gave it to her and she said that she will forded my right address and all the info the the packing department today i called back to see if there was any update there was not and plus's she got my address wrong and the supervisor said that shipping departed will TRY to call FedEx and change the address but don't know if they can

      Liars and fraudulent charges. Called today to dispute fraudulent sales tax that I was charged as I live in a state with no sales tax. Got the run around then connected to "*******" who told me he was the "highest person" I could speak to and he was completely clueless about anything and kept repeating that there will not be any changes done. I told how this has happened before and the account was supposed to be corrected as there is no sales tax and his consent reply is that there is always sales tax. When I asked how they determine the amount charged I was informed it's varied based off location. I again told him my location has no sales tax so how did they determine any tax due. Told there was nothing that would be done as they do not refund sales tax. When I asked what state the sales tax I was being charged was for he said lt was an average of all sales taxes. I asked what percent it was they charged for this mysterious state and was told they do not have that information. I asked for someone who did have this information and he would email further up. Directly on nintendos purchase terms it does not state any of that information and I would like to see a copy of this. He said he would email them? And was unsure if they would disclose this information to me. Which again is a lie and illegal. Directly on the purchase terms its states 2. Ordering and payment "Applicable tax will be applied at the time of purchase and calculated based on the shipping address you provide, except for any digital Products, for which applicable tax will be calculated based on the billing address you provide." How can the most senior person within their own customer service blatantly lie and refuse to acknowledge what is clearly written. Then continue to lie and refuse to help in anyway tell me no one would fix this.

      Nintendo used to be a great company that produced fun, fantastic little games at fair prices. Today? Sheesh. What a disappointment. I bought a Switch Lite and the video game ********************** To say this game wouldn't properly function on the ** is an understatement: buttons don't work, there's no help or support, no guidance, no one to contact, you have a problem with a broken device or malfunctioning game, and you're on your own.So I returned the Switch Lite after trying to play this silly game for a few days, frustrated and disappointed. The retailer allowed a return of the **, but not the physical game cartridge itself because I'd opened the box to actually play the game. This is Nintendo's policy I was told: open to play it, and you then cannot return it for reimbursement if you're not satisfied or had problems. So I'm out >$50.00 for this unusable game. I contacted Nintendo via a long correspondence of text messages, and they were no help at all in refunding the $50.00 I wasted. **************** personnel just seemed to fold its arms, push off onto other **************** personnel, kick the can, do nothing, waste my time and theirs.So Nintendo can keep my stupid little $50.00; but now now Nintendo shall forever lose my longterm business. I'll never buy from Nintendo again out of principle; let their short term corporate greed and refusal to refund my little $50.00 eat away at them from within.Do Not Buy Anything From Nintendo.

      Nintendo support for *************** isn't helpful at all. I sent a message about a design flaw in the execution of an element of game design that has been in the game for over 2 years and they chose not to respond, despite the message not being offensive at all. They also report false information regarding score earned in ranked cup competitions to withhold items from players they choose to randomly disrespect. Also, I reported a player who cheated in the rank cup competition and they let the player get away with it, even though their terms of agreement states that players that cheat will be punished. I see this as Nintendo violating their own terms of agreement and I feel that anyone offended by this action has a right to *** for not receiving compensation for earlier mistakes regarding ranked cup competitions and/or not punishing cheaters. Although a lawsuit is a drastic course of action, Nintendo losing one may be the only way for them to take customer support seriously for any is*** with a product or game. Additional, it feels like *************** is a game designed to punish people that also dislike other games with low user scores, such as ****************** Smash.
