I am a disabled person with a reserved handicap parking spot in front of my apartment, in accordance with the law. Today I noticed a car parked in my spot and needed it moved. I contacted my apartment manager first and when I didn't receive an answer I called our posted towing company Skyway Towing. This person, his name was Bon, was so aggressive and hostile from the time he answered the phone! He began lecturing me on not knowing the protocol, whatever that means, and when I tried inquiring as to what that protocol is he became even more aggressive. He clearly stated he WOULD NOT be providing the needed tow. I AGAIN stated that I am disabled and need access to my parking spot, he didn't care, said it wasn't his problem! I asked for his info to complain to *** and he gave me a fist name then told me to SHUT UP! He then chewed me out some more before hanging up on me!! I immediately called back as I'm still DISABLED and in need of my spot, that's when he got really ugly. He called me "*****" no less than 8 times, repeatedly told me to shut up again, even though he wasn't even letting me speak, and continued to tell me exactly who I am, according to him, and that I just want the world to revolve around me and cater to my every need. Pretty offensive stuff from a stranger to a disabled person. I was never assisted and basically left stranded. Thankfully I was finally able to reach my apartment manager where they handled it and were EQUALLY APALLED by the company's behavior. When I asked for a supervisor or to be transferred I was told no, he said he is the company which I find VERY hard to believe! Even my apartment manager, who they are contracted with, said he fully should have ordered the tow. Either way that isn't how you talk to people especially when disabled and already in need. Considering discrimination charges still with the ***. This person should not be working with the public!
