I have been living in my home since 2/2/22 and my home was bought by Great Jones in March/April. And it has been spiraling down head first since then. Everything that was listed to be fixed with the previous property manager (thats listed to be fixed in my lease) has been ignored. My roof leaks inside my home, my air doesnt get below 85 while on 75, theres noticeable damage in the home and me putting in a maintenance request is pointless. My home is falling apart and all the company can say is pay your rent (which has hidden fees thats not listed in my lease), well locate a vendor to come out and look at these issues or that your property manager will reach out. Havent gotten a call yet. Absolutely horrible and would not recommend. Catch this.. my property is being sold again and its only August.. *** bad business to not communicate with the lease holder because youre too cheap or cold hearted to fix the property.

This business is horrible! In trying to lease a house they had listed for rent in ******** **, my son, his roommate and my husband (as the guarantor) all completed an application and paid the $50 each to do so. They received an email that their application was under review in a few days, but then never heard back. We made numerous attempts to call. My son finally got someone on the phone who said he should get a call back within 24 hours, which never happened. I emailed asking for help. After more than a week, I received a reply saying their applications were still under review (this is 2 weeks after submitting it) and I that I should hear back in 24 hours, which once again never happened. A few days later I went back on Zillow (because son really wanted this house) only to see it had been taken off. Yet they never contacted us at all! I honestly believe they are both slack and crooked. The house had been listed for for over 30 days. It appears they just continued to take application fees with no communication to applicants. I would recommend anyone stay away from this company, at least in the Carolinas.

This is the worst property management company. It has been difficult to get the property manager to call. You send them a request to call and they will send an email asking what is it about. You call and can't reach the property manager. The AC unit went out in SC. Laura Nelson emailed that "essential services" do not include AC units and not required to be repaired in 14 days in SC Law. It took them 27 days to repair the AC unit properly. After I contacted State Legislators, they corrected her regarding the SC law, and was released from the lease early without penalty. She is still threatening to withhold my security deposit. I am preparing to file complaints and necessary action because this is unethical and wrong. I would not recommend anyone to use Great Jones.
