First off, I would like to say I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! This place is the biggest rip off that I have encountered in a long time. Sadly, I lost $600 to this company for diagnosing things that should have been diagnosed in 5 minutes. The first problem we had was trouble getting our jacks down. They wouldnt go down, but this was a separate issue we didnt know about until we got there. Genesis charged us 1.5 hours of time to figure out how to just reset the system literally 2 buttons. But they charged us $300 for figuring this out why did it take them 1.5 hours to figure out just to reset the system? I didnt realize this was going to be an issue in the first place.The reason we came here was a warranty on our fifth wheel for our awning motor and needed to be replaced which we already knew I told my husband just take it somewhere and have warranty take care of it. So, we called around and found this place thinking that they had the best reviews compared to other places and they accepted our warranty. This was supposed to cost us a $100 deductible and be an easy fix. My question is why this was going to cost a little over $1700 ($300 non warranty) and our warranty will pay a national average price which is about $700. Literally they wanted us to pay $1700 to replace a motor, diagnosis, and the resetting the system (which again was pushing of 2 buttons together). They wanted to charge us 2 hours of work plus an hour for diagnosing the problem which is like $700 on its own. This place overcharges everything even for the parts. I have never seen such a bad practice in my life. This is the kicker! I literally just bought a motor replacement off amazon for $36 plus tax and replaced the motor within 30 minutes. If we wanted to buy the whole housing unit for the motor and replace it through the actual dealer for the awning it would have cost us $350 bucks but genesis was charging us $800 plus tax for just the motor.

Ive had my class-a RV for 20 years. Have more than 80k miles and Im the only driver. Have had service and repairs done at many places over the years. Theyre all expensive, but theyre not all good. I now have my service/repairs done at Genesis. They tell me what needs to be done, but I get to decide what is done based on cost. Some things need done now, some can wait. I get to choose. Their service has been great. Their service personnel are friendly and easy to work with, and always takes time to explain whats going on. My old RV has new life.

Poor business practice in my opinion. Before est would be done needed to sign a form for an estimate ****** for est + 6,84 shop supplies and ***** for environmental fees.After tax $477.03. Is that normal business practice.*** just getting started.

They do a bait and switch. I received a coupon from them since I had gone there before, it was for 99. off any service. No where in the letter that came with it said you had to present coupon at drop off. When my wife went to pick up our trailer and give them the coupon, they wouldn't honor it saying the coupon had to be given at drop off. Only down in the bottom corner in very small print did it state you had to present coupon at drop off. If there that particular they should state it in the letter that came with it.

Unfortunately our management program cannot take a discount after the invoice is posted. We have learned that if we have the coupon when the vehicle is dropped off we can apply it appropriately as a discount before taxes. Ive owned two RVs and have entrusted both to Genesis RV. ***** and his team of expert technicians have alleviated our family of worry, knowing that they were just a phone call away. As we prepare to leave the *******************, it saddens me that we cant take Genesis RV with us. I doubt that Ill find another maintenance and repair family that is as honest, reliable and technically sound as Genesis. Its been a real blessing having them to call on.
