The landlord is a liar who will try any and everything to keep security deposits. They will give you an old apartment , and charge you for miscellaneous things such as 2 dents in the door That were already there before moving into the unit , hoping to get you to pay for it , which not fixing anything. They are conniving scammer artist , they purpose charge utilities later than they are due , in order to make you pay late fees. They are a disgusting company.

As landlords we do a unit condition report when a tenant moves in and compare the report to the condition of the property when the tenant moves out. This is for the protection of the tenant and the landlord to prevent the types of things the former tenant is accusing.
Late fees are not charged on utilities.

Yes, It is true the communication with them is real bad. I am a condo owner at one of the properties they handle. I have just been trying to get a parking permit for a reserved space. They do not return my calls or respond to emails. They left a notice on my car that they would tow me but, won't help me find a contact to resolve the situation. If you are trying to get assistance all I can say is good luck. They have done nothing for me. This is my last resort leaving a negative review.Well, I have left repeated messages at the number that was given and emailed to the email address to which the phone tree says to email. Still no response from Real Estate Investment Services. I'm really glad that it isn't a really emergency. I can't imagine how they might handle a maintenance issue. All I need is a parking permit. It really is strange to be told one thing and then have your requests be complete ignored.
