I recently had an unsettling experience with this plumbing service that left me feeling unfairly treated. Initially, I was quoted $650 for to try and detect a leak at my home. However, upon completion of the service, I was surprised with a bill nearly $400 higher, totaling $952. When I contacted the plumbing company for clarification, they informed me that the additional charges were for labor. This was perplexing as I had only requested leak detection, not any labor-intensive repairs. The lack of transparency and the unexpected increase in cost have left me deeply disappointed. I believe in fair business practices and clear communication, which were not upheld in this instance. I hope that my feedback encourages the company to adopt more straightforward billing practices to prevent similar experiences for other customers.

This plumbing business was contacted to resolve plugged toilets but, after they showed up the person to resolve the issue did nothing but, danced around and said I think you need to have the septic tank pump. Then presented a billing of over $500 and did nothing for the money. This so-called plumbing business is a rip off. They do not live up to their slogan claims on their web site. They are dishonest. Do not waste your time with these people. I would like too only give them a quarter of a star rating.

Hi ****,It was unnecessary for you to be involved in this. We actually did come to a conclusion with the person who was onsite and who paid. He was given a partial refund for his inconvenience even though our service agreement was signed. He even apologized for the things that you were saying to us including insulting our religion and extortion. Our company and the tenant have been in contact to resolve this issue.

They are quick to say "we can fix your problem" and book you for an appointment as it seems their goal is just to collect whatever they can from you. I hired them to fix a leak in my bathroom and ended up paying them $300 for them to tinker around for 45 minutes only to tell me that they couldn't find the right part because my faucet was too old.Their reasoning sounded fine to me until I decided to get a second opinion and had ***'s 2 Sons Plumbing over. They came over and looked at my shower for free and confirmed that they can source the part and replace it for approx. $690.It took two weeks of calling The Plumbing Joint to finally get a response from them. Their solution was to replace the entire shower valve, which means demoing the wall and a lot more $$$. It took $300 of no work and two weeks to get that answer.Read their other reviews. About a third of their customers have similar complaints. I don't understand businesses like this. Just charge a consultation fee and send someone out, especially when you know that your skills aren't on par with the competition. Is making a couple of quick hundred dollars worth all the negativity?

Hi *******, Our owner was reluctant to offer to help you because he anticipated that if we offered to work with you again, even after you left a bad review before we could even give you a solution, that you would be quick to leave another bad review, and here we are. Unfortunately, when it comes to reviews, youll always hear the negative things people have to say rather than all the positive. I can guarantee you that The Plumbing Joint hasnt stayed in business for the last ***************************************** unwilling to work with our customers. Yes, our technicians walk to their trucks to look for parts. We dont do renovations or work on commission so theres no reason why we would try to scam you into more work than is necessary. As mentioned in our phone call, our trucks are stocked with ***** of the most commonly used parts and materials; and even then, we do not always have everything that we need for the first visit. If you call for a plumbing problem, we do everything in our power to address this in one call, not only is this beneficial for the customer but it is also beneficial for the company. But we can only base it off similar situations and on average what we can expect through dispatch. Instead of waiting for a solution or considering what might realistically need to be done, you immediately gave a bad review, deleted it, asked for help, didnt like the answer, then posted a second bad review. Unfortunately, we did what we could to assist you and you chose to get no further assistance when asked if you would like to verify all your solutions. Hopefully the next business that attempts to assist you doesnt get their name drug through the mud as you were so easy to do with us without even knowing our quality of work. -Sincerely, ******* and The Plumbing Joint Family

These people are the BEST I have worked with. They came out EARLY to repair some water leaks under my mobile home. While they were under the house, they found a sewer repair that was done by another company that was done completely wrong and leaking sewage under my house. These two guys didn't hesitate to fix that too while they were under there. They also told me what was done wrong so I could get it fixed. When the other company pushed back saying "there was no warranty before or after the repair" The Plumbing Joint's plumbers and office staff looked at the pics and listened to what happened and gave me the information I need to go the next step to get this cleaned up and fixed the right way. I can't say enough about the customer service, professionalism and true concern they have displayed. As the other company is no longer allowed on my property these will be my plumbers of choice for ANYTHING that comes up.

****, As one of the trades that customers only reach out to us when they only have problems, you can imagine the number of complaints that follow. It is so kind and thoughtful of you to go the extra distance to give such an amazing review of our company. It's customers like you that really make this company run and feel like all of the hard work is worth it. Thank you for supporting us and for your positive attitude and feedback.

We hired plumbing joint for a leak that we noticed in our crawl space. They came out and supposedly fixed the leak. A day later, we noticed the leak was still there, so we called them back, and they came back and charged us again to supposedly fix a different leak on the same spot. When we realized that they charged us for the same leak, we called them back, asking to talk to the manager no one called us back. A month later, we noticed the leak continued on the same spot, so we called them back again, and they sent a different person this time; the plumber said that they didn't fix the leak where it was actually coming from, and now they have to take out the vanity and find the leak. We then called the plumbing joint again, frustrated for having to deal with the same issue, and asked to talk to the owner. Unfortunately, they said it's impossible, and you have to talk to the manager. After multiple interactions with the manager and them ignoring us when we were awaiting their call for a solution, we realized they simply were not interested to help. The manager also mentioned that she had been instructed by the owner for the solution that they can come out again and charge us for a continuation of service that they never fixed the first time. Definitely not happy and super sad for having to pay so much money and yet never getting our issue resolved the issue that we asked for their expertise the first time we called them!

Hi ******, We are always more than happy to stand behind our work. We came out to the original visit (6/28) and repaired 2 leaks from a broken pipe. On the second visit we waived our service minimum and located another leak (6/30). The reason why, as we explained over the phone multiple times, multiple leaks are difficult to detect at one time. When water is coming out of one access point, less travels further through the line. It's frustrating to the customer which is why we offered to waive our service minimum. Especially because it is a special circumstance where the fixture is unable to be tested at the time of service due to the *** glue needing to be dried. We then came out over 2 months later (9/8) because you said you were experiencing a leak. This leak was coming above the subfloor, not in the crawl space like the other two. If it had been the same leak for over 2 months, there would be multiple indications of an ongoing leak. Because the leak was in a different location, it is not covered under warranty. However, we still offered to waive our service minimum, again. We attempted to advise you on the solution (with multiple phone calls and service calls), what was needed to be done, and how to move forward but you and your partner were not happy with this. We tried out best to accommodate your circumstances, but because we weren't willing to come back for free, it unfortunately did not work out.
