Was set up to receive my oxygen equipment this afternoon. They were to call before delivery. I called them about 3PM . First lady put me on hold and never returned. Another lady answered and said they had not received the test results. I contacted Dr's ****** and they had faxed the results yesterday about 1 PM. Not impressed with their service.Review from Lacy U

This company is absolutely horrid. They are extremely incompetent and nobody has a clue whats going on. We have NEVER had a successful interaction with them and never had an order that was placed correctly and shipped out without having to contact them multiple times. We are switching to another company asap. If you have emergent need for medical equipment steer clear.Review from Char H

March of 2023 I received a bill for $500 for my daughters oxygen concentrator. Mind you the concentrator retails for $500-$700. I called to confirm they have been billing BOTH insurances. They didn't have the secondary on file, took the info and said a new bill would be sent. Nothing, so come November 22nd I get a scathing phone call that they do not take our primary insurance and we need to hand over the concentrator. I am thoroughly confused at this point as I have not received a call or notification there is an issue with insurance. I call them back immediately and tell them I don't appreciate the tone or verbiage used on the call. We have always paid our bill, what is the issue? They said secondary wont pay unless they have an explanation of benefits. I asked why no one called and discussed this with us. No response, just hand over the concentrator. We scheduled a pick up for November 28th. I get a letter dated November 22nd that was mailed on November 29th stating the concentrator belongs to them and if it is not returned by December 6th we are being sent to collections with an additional $6,000 added to our account. $6000 when the unit is $700 brand new? That is ridiculous plus they took it so why am I getting this letter? FURTHERMORE I checked insurance and secondary insurance has been paying EVERY MONTH minus $1.25. So they took away the concentrator my child needs to help her breath because they weren't getting for $1.25 a month.Performance Home Medical Response

Terrible service and predatory billing practices. They send the wrong supplies, even though I asked if they wanted me to ship back, they didn't, billed the insurance company, got paid and then put me on late bill status and refused any orders. Since they billed for unnecessary medical services and kept the money, they violated *************** law for Phantom billing. On repeated occasions they were asked to provide additional information the ****************** they never did. I continued to work with them to get that information so they insurance claim could be processed correctly stated that I would pay their bill as soon as it was accurate, they never provided the information for months. They then withheld sending supplies and sent me to collections even though they never completed their obligations to insurance. Worst supplier!Performance Home Medical Response

I had an oxygen concentrator for over 5 years, ******** paid for the equipment and I was repeatedly told at the end of the 60 month period the equipment did not have to be returned and that it was my property. Performance Home Medical with no prior warning, not so much a telephone call. Sent a threatening letter and when I called their office about them stating I owed them $3000 and was being turned over to collection, they said no it is NOT your property and we will destroy your credit, unless you return the concentrator and agree to a new 5 year ******** billed concentrator. The local branch manager insisted the equipment was mine, but to avoid anymore threats, and harassment, the machine was returned the next business day and I had to spend $530 to get new equipment. This after Performance Home Medical had billed ******** over $17k in the last 5 years. Very predatory untruthful, and unethical company. They even said ******** Required the confiscation of the equipment which is an outright lie, I called ******** and they confirmed there is no such law or requirement. My doctor prescribed a nebulizer system for me approximately June 2022. I received it on my doorstep about 3 weeks later. I had a call from them last week asking how my machine was working. I informed them I had not used it after the first week. They said I should have let them know because it was a "Rent to Own". I was never informed it was a rent to own by anyone and had assumed my two insurances would cover a one time payment. (since these machines sell for $39. to 79. )I spoke with them last week and they said my Doctor would have to cancel it. Today I spoke with them and they said the insurance had been paying $37,/mo. and the last charge will be billed June 9th. I talked to another person today (*******) and was informed there was no delivery ticket, prescription from doctor, or notification I had been notified it was "Rent to Own" and that should have happened. I have spoken to 3 different people in the past week and only one being honest with me was a male today. No company should be able to "sell" something with "rent to own" without notifying the purchaser. I would NEVER recommend anyone use this company for anything again. They are getting about $400. for a machine that can be purchased for about $70. or less, and had I known it was a rent to own I would have returned it after the first week since I couldn't use it. We are very sorry for the inconvenience that you have experienced due to miscommunication regarding your insurance requirements.However, it is your insurance that decides how the unit is to be billed to them. ** this case, your insurance requires a 13 month rental. Once the 13 month rental period ends, they consider it purchased and ownership transfers to you. We are contracted with your insurance and we are required to follow their guidelines. Also, your insurance sets the pricing and they will not pay more than the contracted amount. We would be happy to review the details of your insurance requirements and the payment structure they have established. I spoke with 3 different people and got 3 different answers and now they give you more information with totally *****************. The three people I spoke with all told me I could have cancelled earllier, but now they say the insurance "Requires" 13 mo rental. All in all, I was given inaccurarate information and after having the last person (the male) tell me totally differnt from what they explain to you, I would never deal with this company again because no one gave me correct information. Also the fact that they couldn't find the doctor prescription, the delivery record and the fact I was told they failed to notify me of the "rent to own". There message when the phone auto-answers says they're #1. God help us if they are!!! I have ordered thru their online system and got the wrong supplies. I call, wait on hold for hour(s), receive order, still wrong. Tried their "press one to save your spot in the line and receive a call back as soon as possible".... never got a call....SMH...I'm on oxygen. This is life and death we're talking here and they can't get it right!!! Will talk to Dr at a appt in a few weeks about changing suppliers.
