      In April 2023, we took our 6 year old to Evergreen Emergency Services only to be told AFTER we filled out all the paperwork and were in the exam room that they could do NOTHING related to pediatrics, and wed have to go to ******************* Fast forward to January 2023, and I get a bill from a collection agency about my daughters visit, and it stated that our bill was sent to collections in Sept 2022. I called Evergreen Emergency Services and talked with the most unhelpful costumer service representative. Apparently 4 letters had been sent to my address, but the address that they had on file was not my address! We had not received any billing statements. My daughter was the patient, and they didnt send the statement to the address associated with her file, which was the CORRECT address! They told me that it was my responsibility to call and see if the bill was correct and where it was. I had them confirm that my phone number was correct AND my email address, yet they didnt reach out with either of those modes of communication, nor did they use the address in the patient file!! What on earth!??!! This is such a money making racket and I cannot believe that a healthcare provided would be this predatory after a 6 year olds emergency visit. We were *** led in and confirmed when the knowing couldnt provide the services we needed and then billed and sent to collections based on an address that wasnt ours! I will NEVER take my children to Evergreen Emergency Services again, NEVER! Shame on you.

      The first time I called I spoke to the rudest person and they had my SSN as my claim number - I didn't have my claim number on me so I was told to call back. I called back like I was told to and spoke to a very polite guy who told me they now had the correct claim number and didn't need it from me. I got a **** for the visit. I called and spoke to the first women who again refused to do anything and told me I had to call L&I (after getting angry at me because she thought L&I was insurance and not state coverage for a work injury). I called L&I then called Evergreen again and they said they never received payment from them despite them saying they've paid you. My claims manager sent you a letter on April 29, 2022 telling you my **** was covered and it is illegal to **** me. I received a final notice on June 1, 2022. I called again, your employees told me to fax this letter because it could not be emailed on June 10, 2022 at 9:02am. I was told my account would not go to collections while I was dealing with this. I was also told that you only have a letter saying my coverage is for March, which makes no sense since the ONLY care I received was on January 2, 2022 from Evergreens doctor. I was told to call and confirm Evergreen received it this week. I called and was put on hold for 15 minutes then hung up on. I called AGAIN and the employee became very rude because I was getting frustrated that I keep doing exactly what you tell me to and you refuse to reach out to anyone and just tell me it's my problem. I was told *I* needed to be more professional despite TWO of your employees SPEAKING over me. I was rightly frustrated especially after the way I was treated from the get go. Your staff said they are legally allowed to ask for information. I provided the information is every way you asked - it's illegal to **** me after L&I. By the way I suddenly could email after asking how I was suppose to fix this if they were just going to keep saying they received nothing.
