BEWARE!!! The Gene ********************** ******** location completely ruin my daughters hair to the point of falling out. After the service was done they made excuses and tried to place blame on us by making false claims. They left her hair in bleach for over a hour and stripped all color out of her hair. There's also huge spots of bleached hair. Lastly they tried to say her hair was previously highlighted and they were doing a corrective color when you can obviously see thats not the case. Now its almost impossible to work with when the hair is wet and we are stuck buying treatments and expensive masks to help the hair recover.I completely understand when mistakes are made but the reaction and not taking responsibility by the stylist and management is unacceptable. We will never return to this location.

*************************** brought her daughter in on 3/19/2022 for a color service and we respectfully disagree that the service was not considered a corrective color , there was also a mineral built up on the hair due to well water which complicated the service provided.. After we provided the color service, on the same day we had a different colorist provide a complimentary color service and complimentary treatment. In addition we scheduled a complimentary haircut and treatment for the daughter on Monday 3/21/2022 and they did not bother to cancel this appointment and they did not show up.. The Dad called 3/19 requesting a refund, we spoke on Monday 3/21 and I was in email communication with the Mom (*****) on 3/22 and she provided pictures as I requested. We refunded the service price of ****** on 3/22/2022 as they both requested. Sincerely, *******.Customer Response

I can provide a 100 or more photos showing my daughters hair has not been highlighted. AND I would like to point out that not one thing was mentioned to me that there could be a issue before or during the service. Only after the service when I got upset did all of these untrue accusations come out. The bleach was left on her hair for over a hour and then put under heat. I've talked to multiple stylists who agree that the salon burned her hair because of the time left on. It is unbelievably sad that a company refuses to take responsibility for their actions.Gene Juarez Salon & Spa Response

We were ready and willing to assist with correcting the color and providing additional complimentary conditioning treatments to help improve the integrity of the daughters hair as well as a complimentary haircut . The mother and father wanted a refund for the service, and a refund was approved and the service was refunded to the original form of payment.Review from Kari S

I got a bad pixie cut by a stylist there and I complained to a manager. They offered me 50% off the price and had Armani, another stylist fix it. Armani not only clipped and sliced my right ear but she flat ironed my hair while it was wet. As my hair sizzled and burned I asked her to stop. Armani told me not to worry. She said it was the product in my hair that was making that sizzle sound and continued on. My hair is now permanently damaged and horribly fried. Some pieces have broken off. I went in because my hair was cut badly, now it’s permanently destroyed as well. My hair was not damaged prior to my appointment. I honestly believe that Armani destroyed my hair on purpose. I’m having a hard time dealing with this, not just because my hair is destroyed but because another human could be so cruel. Location Gene Juarez South Hill
